Title: [IC] Pancake - 8/15/19 Proto Pics
Post by: rionlion100 on Wed, 26 June 2019, 21:55:45
There is an alarming shortage of Bluetooth Keyboards in the market today. I wanted to fix that.

So I made myself a Pancake...And was inspired.

We wanted Bluetooth! --- Check

We wanted Low Pro! --- Check

WE WANTED STYLE! -- CHECK

The case has a little pancake recipe on it, along with the pancake silkscreen, to give others the opportunity to be inspired to make something unique and interesting too!

I like each of these features very, very much. Interested for sure.

EDIT: Can a DXF file please be provided for case plate?

It looks like you have two switches so I assume that means reset and a power switch? Nice!

4 stand offs might flex too much without a middle layer, I find the 5 screw FR4 cases to be a little flexy and some people find them unacceptable. A middle layer might also allow for something more than double stick tape or friction fit to secure a battery.

Looking forward to seeing this project, especially the QMK part, come to life.

Yup that's a power and reset switch!

I'll be sure to test the flex on the proto, thanks for the warning

Thanks for the input!
