Good morning world!
Sorry it took so long to get this post up. I had to pay my dues and get my 25 posts before I could create this post.
We are about 10 days into the GMK 9009 Ortho and Vim Groupbuy.
Current Numbers:
60 Vim and 41 Ortho.
I plan on purchasing stock of both kits, so we don’t have to quite reach that with sales. If any other vendors are interested in buying stock, just contact me and we’ll work out a wholesale price for you.
Ill start out with some basic information.
/u/woodkeys_click [+2] and I have spent a lot of time making sure these kits are just right. We wanted to bring a full GMK Ortholinear kit with legends for as many Ortho layouts as we could. I don't think there has ever been a GMK ortho kit, that didn't just rely on blanks. This is a big step, so a big risk, because of the niche.

Obviously this is a group buy for the GMK 9009 Ortholinear and Vim kits. Below you will see the details of each kit.

Where
NA: The group buy will be hosted on http://dixiemech.com/shop/gmk9009/ in the same place as the other 9009 buy from a few months ago. The new kits will just be in the drop down.
EU: The European proxy will be mykeyboard.eu. They ran the last 9009 groupbuy for Europe, so everything should be familiar there as well. Contact them for any questions regarding EU purchases.

Rough shipping estimate is the end of August, but that is obviously very rough, because nothing has actually happened yet.

APRIL 18 UPDATE:
Hello everyone,
I would first like to apologize for the lack of updates since the GMK 9009 Ortho and Vim Groupbuy ended this past Saturday. We were below MOQ, so I was working on a way to still get this group buy produced before I made any announcements. GOOD NEWS!
I placed the order yesterday! The group buy is still moving forward, people! Hopefully I will have a more precise arrival date from GMK, this week.
Now onto the fun part!

5/22/18 UPDATE
We have gotten word from GMK that the sets have been produced and are waiting to be sorted and packed. They said that they plan to have that completed no later than mid/late June. They sent me a photo of the ortho set and I am waiting on the Vim photos. They look beautiful!

They are based in Belgium, so Import Duties for the EU isn't a thing. But a higher price when the vendor does not pay Import Taxes on the delivery from GMK, as well as cheaper shipping itself from GMK. It would make sense for the VIM to be 35€ or 40€, but not 45€. Especially after fixed shipping (which is not cheap, BTW), regardless of order

I asked to purchase it, but I was told to wait until the set arrives, and that next updates will be on the newsletter (subscribe on the site).
