All the colors are custom and based of Pantones, so whilst they could be close, it won't be identical :p

So when's this going into actual production, where are we in the queue and all that? Kinda weird that hasn't been mentioned after Sherry said the go ahead was given, figured a more solid ETA on GMK's part may be available.

I want a set, but after this went off the rails the first time I decided I'd pay Sherry's markup and buy retail once he (finally) has them in hand.

Depends on what you do with the money. If you had put your $155 into BTC in August 2016 instead of K&Co (which appears to still be not in production???), you'd own 0.246 BTC which would now be worth $3,444 based on a low trade price of $14,000. This isn't taking into account cap gains, but nor is it taking into account the various splits that have occurred.

We're on month 15 of a 4 month group buy. Sorry if my cautiousness feels unwarranted to you.

I don't think it's unwarranted, but if you are going to buy it anyways you are just choosing to pay more and wait longer, which is fine, you are free to want to pay more. I don't.

You're intentionally misstating things to make me look ignorant. It's rude. Stop.

I don't want to pay more. I generally buy into GBs that I want when they're announced. I bought into this one.

Most GMK GBs don't take 18+ months for fulfillment - which is where we're at if Sherry paid for the caps today. It's worth $30 to me to not float Sherry a 0% loan from Sept 2016 until he decides to finally pay for K&Co.

His (extremely valid) point is that we're all loaning Sherry a nigh hundred orders of $160+ each at 0% interest with little to no word on when we'll see the fruit of our investment, doesn't take a genius to realise that.

Do I regret being in on the buy? Not really, love the set as much as I did when the IC started. Would I rather pay Oco's markup on sets that are in stock whenever it does arrive rather than having $170 somewhere in bitspace (or rather, someone's bank account, be it Sherry's or GMKs) since September 2016? Abso****inglutely rofl. It's not even remotely close. The valuation of my money would have to be pretty skewed for that to be something to even ponder.

To each their own however, of course!

Wait, so I'm the only one that doesn't want to pay more than I have to for this to get it at the same time, if not earlier than retail? In my mind this is paid for and I'm just waiting for the product at this point, I don't see how you guys would have rather paid more to get it later than we are for the cheaper GB price. That seems totally backwards to me. In this case I know that I will get it, I know it is paid for, and I know that I will get it "early" compared to retail, and I don't have to worry about whether or not I will have, or need to budget for, the funds when this hits retail, for me it is a no-brainer... I get it cheaper, and I get it sooner, than retail

Yeah, but you are also out $160 already. The point is, there is always GB and other things going on that ppl want. Why tie up money in something that doesn't require it to save like $10 and a few days shipping? Sure a few days early is nice, but how long has the wait been now? Does a few more days REALLY matter at all? Unless you REALLY REALLY need to post your pictures before the other people who bought the same thing (which YOU DON'T need to do, though you may want to).

If there is something else I want, say next week, I would much rather have an extra $160 in the bank to buy it and x months to get the funds back in time to buy keps which for me is a no brainer. There is always more money next month, it's all about what I have to give up to buy it right now.

I think the big thing for me is that I know I'm going to get it without needing to budget it down the road/worry about potentially forgetting to look out for it amidst a million other things I'm watching out for/money I spent over a year ago doesn't matter to my finances today, it's said and done, I spent the money so I don’t have to think about that money anymore, and if the project goes tits up and I get refunded it will be like bonus money I will have, like I found $160 on the ground. I'm not really a picture guy, it’s not about being able to show it off before other people, but at the end of the day I would still rather pay less and get it sooner, coupled with, moving forward, not needing to worry about it and knowing I’ll get it when it finishes. That makes it worthwhile to me.
