Hello people of geekhack I am doing a interest check for my keycap set for a set I would like to call KAT Moonrise if that's not taken that is.
The three renders are all SA, I don't have a way to render KAT without paying someone for renders which im not ready to do yet neither do I have the money.
SA 104 key, these renders are to test the colors of keycap font and the keycaps, I can't change the font or anything like that.

Coleverak set and I'm inIt'll have that, if the IC check goes through then ill use the KAT keycap system good like the other KAT keysets that have like 13 kits.

I would wish for a regular, non-gradient grey/beige set in KAT profile. Your colors aren't even far off at all from what I want but I just don't think gradients look good at all, they've never impressed me on keycaps.
If you'd made something like DSA Alchemy (https://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-alchemy-keyset/) in KAT I'd be all over it.

Looks dope. I would probably only use the f keys with white background because that lighter blue looks great with the grey text to me.

First Let me say the colour looks great. Second, I feel MT3 profile might be perfect. If the GB is sometime late in the year probably might get in.
The biggest problem with MT3 is (mass)drop's monopoly over the profile. I would much rather KAT. Lower cost, still great quality, reverse dye-sub PBT options = way more colour options, much better kit MOQs = more kit variety and more likelihood they actually make it to production.

Just curious: what's the plan to produce this color scheme? Will all keycaps be molded in the bottom row color, completely dyed to get the base color, and then dye-sub for black legends? Or will they be molded in six different colors with black dye-sub legends? Or something else?Idk what keyreative has but im thinking dyesub or reverse dye sub whichever I need.

Any updates on this? Hoping its not dead :'(it's pretty dead i could finish the kit stuff but i dont have novelties and plus im poor so i basically cant do the usual stuff like renders and color matching etc

I have some ideas.
These are pretty rough sketches, and I centered by eye. I'm not sure how this all works and the limitations of making novelties. But I made an account just to do this cuz this keyset looks really cool and it'd be sad to see it die.

With Dye-sub, you can have as many colors as you want on the keycap :) 1, 2, 3 or even more
