Any chance of adding in a 00 key for the numpad? Possibly interested in a set for the gh60 + 10key whenever those start up but I don't think I'll use a 2.0 size 0 key.
Yes please. I'm sure one more key won't kill us...

Also, I'm interested in blanks in lime and plum, as well as those colors in relegendables.

'cause how much I want is dependent on how many paychecks happen between then and now.

This group-buy is amazing. It's got a sweet web interface, a tracker table of pricing, and even 2x blanks for easy ergodox compatibility. It's got Dvorak sets, and even a good color, and everything. It's the perfect GB.

I want to order several keyboards worth, 'cause I enjoy flat profile, I love spherical, and I can use it with Dvorak? Excellent!

NOTE: Left stemmed keys are in DCS Family not DSA!

iirc OTD made a DSA set with stepped caps lock with window in DSA profile, any reason why its in DCS?

Oh my... so many question to answer... Sorry if I'm going to make many consecutive posts, but the Topic summary in the post reply doesn't go so far in the past.

Ok let's start.

Also, can someone post the stem configurations of the four space bars?  For example is the 6.25 a 6-stem universal?  What do the two 6-unit ones look like?

The DSA spacebar has fixed mounting positions. Measuring from the center mount(post) outward, the two outer mounts are 1.500" from the center mount. This is slightly smaller than our DCS 6.2 unit spacebar which measures 1.575" from the center mount.

The 6.2 is the standard universal SP space bar.

Matt3o, I thought you were going to fold ISO into the main kit so it doesn't have MOQ issues like in every group buy?

This has been discussed especially on Deskthority. The ISO kit contains 3 returns which are pretty expensive and KIT2 and KIT3 are already expensive by their own because of all the extra keys. We couldn't add any more key. I asked for a quote for an aggregated version and we decided to make a kit of its own.

oh and in KIT1 it wouldn't make any sense of course :)

Looking at the stats after 8hours I don't think we will have any issue.

If there's interest, 1 unit keys don't impact cost that much.

can anybody tell me when will this group buy end?

I hope this could be made very quickly, but it depends on how the order flows. The soft dead line is 3 weeks from now, but it will probably be pushed.

iirc OTD made a DSA set with stepped caps lock with window in DSA profile, any reason why its in DCS?

Are you sure it was DSA and not SA? SP told me that they don't have tooling for off center keys in DSA.

Matt3o, will you be the person accepting paypal payments?  do you have a proxy in the US who could help you receive and distribute?

Sorry for not being more chatty about this.

I'm taking care of the interest check, group buy, contacts with Signature Plastics, and so on. Samwisekoi (located in the US), will collect money, place the order with SP and send keys to all of you. So please show gratitude to him as well, he is doing all the dirty job.

I'm in Europe, so if it's cheaper we might find some way to collect/split orders between the continents.

no fixed numbers, I want to avoid people cancelling their brown or red orders to get the blue :P When both sets (brown and red) are on a very safe spot, we will be adding blue.

Many thanks to Matt3o and Samwisekol. Great job on the color combinations and the management of this group buy.

If we are interested in plum blank caps should we wait until the coffee blanks reach a safe level or should we order the coffee blanks and change later if the plum blanks become available?

if the coffee ones don't reach a safe spot we are not adding the plums, so... my suggestion would be to order coffee blanks and either cancel the order before the end or order plum if they become a reality. As you'll see the order form is darn easy to use and you can alter your order any time without asking me a thing.

What is the difference between a blk100 and blk100r?

If anyone is putting these on an ergodox do you think the profile will be user friendly (comfortable)? If so, what sets and extrad did you order?

Thanks,

when this group buy ended?

I'm going to add this to the OP. Don't expect this to last long, a soft deadline is 3 weeks from now.

What is the difference between a blk100 and blk100r?

Relegendable keys are like so:

13369-0

If anyone is putting these on an ergodox do you think the profile will be user friendly (comfortable)? If so, what sets and extrad did you order?

they will feel amazing on ergodox :)

You need:
4 2-units
12 1.5-units
1-unit it's up to you, up to 20, but you can take the 1-unit modifiers and/or the Extra kit and in that case you'd need less blanks.

I'm going to add this to the OP as well

So for a 76-Key ErgoDox you would want:
Extended Alpha                Qty (1)
1 Unit Blank                     Qty (18)
1.5 Unit Blank (blk150)     Qty (12)
2 Unit Blank (blk200)        Qty (4)

You probably don't need all (18) 1 Unit blanks, but at $0.24 each that buys you some flexibility.  You could substitute relegendables if you want to be able to mark them... or if you want all blanks, then skip 'Extended Alpha' and just get (60) 1 Unit Blanks instead.

Personally, I ordered 'Extended Alpha', 'TKL', '1 Unit Modifiers', 'Extra Keys', the 1.5 and 2 Unit Blanks and some Relegendables... but I'll have a lot of extra keys.  ;D

kbt race
kbt poker

KBT Race - The race is a weird one.  There are a lot of options in this buy, but nothing that will replace all of the Race's keys exactly. You can get close, but you'll have some blanks or "mis-labeled" keys.  There is no 1.5 Coffee Esc, but there's a 1.5 Plum Esc in the 1.5 Mods group.  There aren't any arrows or 'End' in the 1.25 mods group, and you only need 1 key from the 1 Unit mods group.  If you're ok with blanks, you can just get something like this:

(63)    1.0  Keys
(10)    1.25 Keys
(4)    1.5   Keys
(1)   1.75 Keys
(1)   2.0 Keys
(2)   2.25 Keys
(1)   6.25 Keys

Otherwise, you'll probably want Alpha, TKL, 1.5 unit mods, 1.25 unit mods, 1 unit mods, 6.25 space and (5) 1.25 Unit blanks
13372-0

KBT Pure - The Pure is like this (I don't have a poker) my understanding is that the difference is the Shift is split in a Pure, so it's a 1.75 (shift) and 1 (fn) instead of 2.75 (shift) in the Poker.  So, if you want blanks remove a 1.0 and a 1.75 and add a 2.75.

(47)    1.0  Keys
(7)    1.25 Keys
(2)    1.5   Keys
(2)   1.75 Keys
(1)   2.0   Keys
(2)   2.25 Keys
(1)   6.25 Keys

Kit wise, you could do this with Alpha, TKL, 6.25 Space and a 1.25 Blank for your Function key (or the 1.25 mods pack)?

13374-1

Please, verify the numbers against your own keyboard, I'm pretty sure I counted them all right when I made my spreadsheet thing, but I'd hate to be wrong and you end up getting messed up.

I can't answer with certainty as I don't know the board you reference, but I know that there aren't any 2.25 or 2.75 blanks at this time, and those are pretty standard sizes for Shifts and Enter.  So you could get all the other caps as blanks, but you'd need to get those in one of the kits, and they wouldn't be blank.

You can't have a 100% blank set because we don't have blanks for the big keys. You can go pretty close though.

72 1u
1 2u
2 1.5u
1 1.75u
7 1.25

In addition you'd need:
1 2.75
2 2.25u

they are in the "Extra modifiers" (not blank)

PLEASE VERIFY! I did a very quick key count

if orders keep coming at this pace, very likely. But I need samwisekoi permission to add more workload to the GB (he is the one sorting the keys)

I also have a question. I am looking at the price of the extra modifiers, but I don't get the pricing. They're the same ones as found in the TKL set, thus wouldn't their price have to go down together with the TKL set?

Yes, I have the same perplexity. I'm going to double check that with SP.

Damn, I thought I'd hit a decent home run with klaxon in terms of popularity, but I didn't have near this response in a day.

I had to remove the 10 pieces limit from the order form (replacing the drop down with a standard input box).

The smartest of you might know what is going on...
I'm not one of the smartest but I think I know why. :P
