The purple has always been difficult, it was always meant to be dark though so there would be sufficient legends contrast; the renders didn't perfectly portray the actual reference color chip (used the same color code, but could have been the scene's lighting) or account for the true grainy surface texture but they did get the concept across. The sample I approved definitely fits the original vision but it will look different depending on lighting scenarios. It can look much brighter, but again that's heavily lightning dependent, the range of looks is also much wider than any of the other colors.. just the nature of dark purple plastic I guess 😅
