Love to test one but I am in the US.

I used to be a editorial director for a tech and review website.

This topic is so old but i'd figure i'd necro. I actually got one of these mice in the mail today and they are pretty cool. The only kicker is that the dpi cant be adjusted, only changed between 500,1000,1500,2000dpi , and that it has mouse acceleration, meaning I cant use it to play games. If these can be fixed though, it will be a really cool mouse to use.

Forgot about this. Was supposed to get one too but it's been delayed for further improvements. Hope to see one soon!

Yeah it took a really long time but its understandable. I also noticed that the polling rate is low, its like 250hz compared to 1000hz on most mice. The good thing is we can give feedback on this and hopefully it can be fixed.

Ah that explains the 250Hz part - didn't sound very "gamer"!

Good on you for keeping the secrets secret :thumb:

Crap. I never realized they could've just fished for info.

I did get a follow-up email a couple of months ago. They said they were still working on protos.

This is not the finished design, the unit they sent us is a their regular mouse to see how it works with regular use in gaming. They showed us the sketches for the gaming mouse and they look very nice actually, hope to see it soon, for now, gonna use the sample they sent, maybe I'll get one of the end products to test too :)

Got my mouse some weeks ago too, but it does not have acceleration enabled. So I guess it can be disabled?

The DXT mouse that we've been given doesn't have such feature.
The gaming mice they are producing have a software to enable and disable various features, including acceleration.

Did anyone else sign up to be a beta tester and receive their mouse? I just got mine today. First impressions? The scroll wheel is driving me insane. It's positioned so poorly it makes me want to scream in frustration. The gaming version is apparently better but it's really really annoying. In games like Borderlands or Counterstrike, I use the scroll wheel to cycle through weapons so it's super annoying. Also? I desperately wish the buttons were positioned further up. Even just by an inch or two. It feels like my hand is smashed against the desk in it's current design. My hand constantly wants to adjust itself.

Another super jarring issue since I come from trackballs and perfect optical sensor mice, the acceleration is throwing me off. I'm going to try and force myself to use it for a bit longer though since I think it's so close to being right.

Yeah, but the manual they emailed is different from the actual one they sent.

Are we talking about the DXT mouse? I've had it for quite some time (and got an e-mail before shipment back in May).

In terms of shape and button positions, I only wish it was a tad bit thicker (at the thumb rest) with buttons higher (because my pinkie is weirdly curled with the recommended grip), and there was a separate button instead of a wheel. I'm actually glad, that the wheel is horizontal—considering it's already there—so that I can use the mouse left-handed; the symmetry is the one thing, that makes this mouse unique. However, the wheel switch could have been much better (snappier).
