Some will say wax mod for the Alps switches but it does not work great for me either... Personally would stand by Thomas Ran opinion and from now, I only soft clean Alps switches... But I'm sure someone will find a miracle product in the future!

Dry lube is recommended for Alps. I don't remember the exact reason but, something with not being a dust magnet.

Unlike the switches themselves, that catch more dust than artisan fans catch Ls

Ultrasonic tubs are really cheap now, $50 on amazon.  distilled water @ walmart.

Or 100% alcohol bath in a zip lock bag.
