hey guys, its codys daughters birthday tomorrow, so he was a bit busy today and will be again tomorrow, so nothing will be moving for a couple days but then he will get right back on it and get everything wrapped up

Awww happy birthday cody's daughter :)

Take as long as you like, Cody, daughter's birthdays are far more important!

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'm kind of out of the loop here but does anyone know if there is tracking? I don't see it in my Order History.

If they will come when cody gets to my order, then that's cool. (PS happy bday to your daughter!)

Thanks

Does this mean my order was shipped but USPS didn't bother to update the tracking or does this mean that a shipping label was created online, but the parcel wasn't handed over yet?

I had USPS tracking never updated because the barecode was damaged so they never bothered typing it to update.

to be honest it could be both, usps often will just have things show that but they are on the way, or cody could have not dropped off his latest set of packages, i did just check some other tracking numbers from the same day as your and they seem to be updating though, so i would assume it is the first but when i speak to cody ill confirm for you

I ran out of tape when I printed the last batch of labels, so unfortunately these orders have been sitting for a few days while I've been spending time with my daughter.
I'm back and they will go out today though.

Thanks for the birthday wishes too, shes 2 years old now! :)

Just doing my quarterly check-in on this group buy. Glad to see stuff is moving forward. Still no shipping notice for me, but hopefully tomorrow will be my lucky day. Is there any update on what's going on with the cables? I ordered one and am wondering if that's what's holding up my order from shipping. Order #4134.

we never got the cables from the person making them, im funding replacements myself, and am in talks wwith a few vendors, including get some samples through today, they will be sent separately from the rest of your order, with a note inside explaining the situation

I have waited 1 year and some days more since GB joined, but still be patient mode on haha. xD
I know Bunny, cody and ctrlalt team have been working hard so there is no reason to push them.
If mine was not shipped yet then mine will be shipped this thurs.
Anyway, I'm not hurry but I have to know that number, because I must submit that number to shipping agency.

I've been following this thread for a while and I've seen a few pictures of people's boards with the Toxic set, but I haven't seen a single mention of how the keys feel to type on or how they sound.  Is this common?  Are people more interested in the appearance than the feel?  Or is the quality of sets produced for these group buys so consistent that everyone already knows what to expect?  I tried searching both the key caps forum and the reviews forum, but I haven't found any reviews of key caps (individually using the keywords review, toxic, and penumbra).  I'm really interested in this set and before I make an effort to acquire it, I want to make sure it's worth the money.

In this case they are standard SP DSA ABS doubleshots, and most people have had lots of experience of those.

Sorry, yes, DCS.  Been fixated on DSA for too long ...
