Hello fellow keyboard enthusiasts,

I'm excited to gauge interest for a Mechanical Keyboard Meetup in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany! This would be a fantastic opportunity for enthusiasts from the region to come together, showcase their builds, exchange knowledge, and just have a good time with like-minded people.

It's surprising to me that NRW doesn't seem to have a dedicated meetup. Additionally, with ClackyCon - previously a relatively nearby option - likely not happening from next year onwards, this event could serve as a great alternative for keyboard enthusiasts in the area. I find it really unfortunate that there may not be any more ClackyCons, and I sincerely hope they reconsider and continue hosting them in the future.

Proposed Details

* Location: Cities in NRW such as Essen, Dortmund, or other centrally accessible cities (TBD based on interest).
* Date: Likely sometime next year (2026), aiming for a weekend to accommodate most participants.
* Activities

* Keyboard showcase & typing tests
* Discussions on custom builds, modding, and keycap collecting
* Swaps & sales (if participants are interested)
