Finally getting this going! As I fullfill TKC1800 and prepare to ship DSA Drifter (its incoming) I wanted to get >Terminal_ R2 moving forward. We've all waited too long for this classic.

No International Kit this time. The initial poll we ran showed that only 26/450+ respondents wanted one. Last time around it failed spectacularly. If someone wants to run a mini buy for an EU kit, get with me and Ill help make it happen.

Glad to see the colored 1.5u keys in the ergodox set! Looking forward to the GB. And side note, the M0LLY keyboard looks nice too. Any time frame for when that might get started?

Glad you like it! Im going to order the prototype soon. Ive lined up some interesting companies to do some neat plating the keyboard world has not seen. It wont be cheap; but its going to be absolutley top notch.

Not sure if you're still open to changes but how about adding a R2 1.5u backside to the base AE mod kit?

That would really depend on individual needs. The AE kit is all new, thats a must have for R1 buyers. If youre into 40% boards or Plancks, the 40 kit is pretty attractive, too.

My preference would be towards the #! novelty as opposed to super, but if popular vote is for super then that would not be a make or break point of contention for me.

Also, if we're being more pragmatic towards kit cost during this round then might I suggest just changing the 2x 1.25u #! keys to 1.5u instead. The way I see it there is already 2x 1.25u -$ in the base kit so people can just use that for their 1.25u needs. Then again, I have no significant emotional attachment to #! and -$ because I don't know the first thing about coding, but I can appreciate those that would want both in the kit. Maybe a poll would be assistive in making that decision.

In the 40s kit, I think it might be worth swapping the profiles on the 1u tab and 1u esc. The default planck/Preonic layouts have tab on r2 and escape on r3.

That aside, I’m interested but may not pick up a kit due to the sheer number of GMK sets being run right now

Based on feedback I think Im going in that direction.

Would (1) each in 1.5u, SUPER and CODE suffice? Or does we require 2? Trying to keep the cost down. I think removing the :~$ key is a good idea.
