The initial estimated GB date is March 6 and I do have the estimated price also but originally, I intended to do all the CNC machining and anodized in China but they're facing the coronavirus out break right now so I need to change the plan to move everything back to Vietnam or wait for them until they're back on track. Suddenly, the price and prototype become irrelevant if I can't continue with the China's factory so I'll wait for their confirmation and prepare my plan B.

About the price, right now it still a little bit more expensive than I expected and I'm working on it to make it more affordable.

2/13 updates:
The China factory still need a government approval before coming back to work, they should receive it on Feb 25 so I will wait for them until then. If after Feb 25, they cannot comeback to work, I will shift everything back to Vietnam. Our Vietnamese partner have experiences running the Lustro and Weaven projects so qualities should be better than before.
Changes in design: I decided to change the internal of the keyboard a little bit so we can reduce price. I'm hoping that we can achieve US$480 for the whole package.
Thank you!

And the weight is also right for me ;)) it does not feel too heavy in the full-alu config ;))

According to the poll, the result is extremely close so how many colors you guys want to have?

3-4 color are good, so you can save the time for the anodize, and how many boards do you plan for the GB since you said that would be limit GB.

Are you considering offering other plate materials? Or will you release plate files so we can get some made if we're interested in alt mats?

Hello everyone, sorry for late update since I've been in quarantine for a few weeks. The second prototype's just started machining yesterday and will take 7 working days to finish. About the battery for Bluetooth, I decided to with NiMH (AA), the polymer battery offer a lot of advantages but for safety reason, we won't go with it.

The new prototype will have a few changes and I will explain it in detail as soon as I got the keyboard :D

That would be great, they have awesome options and every durable. I have a Conone 65 in Stormtrooper White on the pipeline.

On this design something maybe in H-294 MIDNIGHT BRONZE, should be a killer look! And very distinctive.

Yes, last time I check , they have that color in stock too, but any color will be possible, the only downside is the cost will be a bit higher if we go with this option :D

Also I really really hope Bluetooth is still on board.

Okay, so with the 2nd prototype, I'm quite satisfy with everything right now. Since I moved everything back to Vietnam, I don't have to worry about the schedule and QC like in China anymore so I think it's safe for all of us to proceed to the Group Buy phase in the very near future. According to the ceramic coating shop, I will have 52 colors to choose from and next week I will receive the 1st batch of color chips, so I think we're good to open a group buy in the next weekend, what do you think?

What's the price and MOQ you have in mind? I'm personally drained this month, so I have my fingers crossed for a later GB.

The answer is both yes and no, if you're not careful then yes, it will scratch, but if you lube it and be carefule, it won't.

It's vintage black, I do have a few SA keycap set but I've just sent the keyboard to another province in Vietnam for a meetup so I won't be able to shoot another video at the moment, but I believe that the SA sound very similar to the MT3 keycaps but with a little bit higher pitch.

I planned on opening a GB on May 30, right now I only have confirmation from zFrontier so they will be our vendor for China region, I will update more information sooner.
