Hi there fellow Geeks! Posting on behalf of Discord user jani80k#5980 whose idea this set was. He talked to Wodan at Clack in Cologne about releasing a fix kit for OG sets, which was approved, so long as it isn't named HADapter. So without further ado, let me introduce

What is the target price?
The goal is to keep the set reasonably small and the price as low as possible. Will keep you updated once I have more info.

What are the color codes (http://i.imgur.com/4HansnG.jpg)?
Alphas: L9 base, CR legend

Do the molds for R5 'Code' and 'Menu' exist? Carbon used 'Super' and 'Meta', which I also prefer. Apart from that, I second mod-coloured tilde and pipe.

The kit looks great either way, but would you consider adding a 1.25u R3 key to make it compatible with a whole bunch of staggered 40% keyboards?

That said, +1 to the 40% key.1.25 R3 key for 40s compat.

I also think I'd prefer the classic text + icon rather than just icon.

Can you do some analysis on a single large kit versus multiple small kits?
HAD adapter was like 20 euro and pricing picture is different nowdays.

That's a good point, we'll get in touch with GMK and find out if those molds exist. If they don't, to keep cost low, the set would be updated to use Super/Meta instead of Code/Menu.

OG 9009 has 8u spacebar, though I suppose there is HADapter for that set, it's just harder to find now which is why I would have liked the 7u support in this set.

Asking bc a decent amount of the cheaper/easier to find boards will have the 6u+1u bottom row or the 6.25-based with off-center caps etc.

I suggest to run a WoB Icon kit together with this in a separate kit.
A lot of people have been waiting for another run of that since the first buy in 2016. I feel that it's time to move on and stop waiting for the original runner to do it again (last login was 2017 on GH).

Please consider it.

I have an OG Cherry set but some of the alphas are scratched a bit due to age. An option to get a full kit would be great. IMO there is no need for the 9009 accent keys and extended compatibility, just a basic set for most people with TKL or 60 percent boards.

NICE!

I personally would have hoped for one more R5 1U cap because my favorite 60% bottom row layout is "1.5U | 1U | 1.5U | 6U | 1.5U | 1U | 1U | 1.5U". Something like "Fn", "Pn" or "Code". But I can just use one of the arrow keys from my HAD and HAU sets for this. Going for double "Super" instead of "Code" is a good decision imo.

So it looks great, just not perfect, but perfect won't be possible anyway. Hope you can make this advance from IC to GB quickly.

I'd like to know that as well.
An R3 "Fn" would be perfect for me since I always have my Function key on the CapsLock position. But CapsLock is 1.5U, not 1.25U?

Would have been really nice to see an R3 1.5U "Function". Seen on some SA sets before. But the big down-arrow does work as a representation for "Function" imo, so it's fine for me.

There is a separate GB in the works for an R0 kit. But the point is not to create some kind of "OG mods kit". This is a compatibility kit for vintage doubleshot keycaps. F keys are already available in the vintage sets, so there's no need to include them here. The only reason the mods are included at all is because some people want to "update" the vintage sets with modern icons.

No.. Well, the whole point is to convert the OG ANSI mods to icon mods.

From the front page:
"Convert vintage text+icon mod ANSI sets to icon mod ANSI sets"

Does it mean that there are original non-stepped OG Cherry capslocks?
All old sets I have only contain stepped ones, either ANSI or ISO.

Well, if you read the first page, another point of this is to provide compatibility for modern layouts. :)
