just a quick update from my side.

We updated the kit for community feedback and price/performance.

We are now executing the next steps towards the GB.

NICE!

I personally would have hoped for one more R5 1U cap because my favorite 60% bottom row layout is "1.5U | 1U | 1.5U | 6U | 1.5U | 1U | 1U | 1.5U". Something like "Fn", "Pn" or "Code". But I can just use one of the arrow keys from my HAD and HAU sets for this. Going for double "Super" instead of "Code" is a good decision imo.

So it looks great, just not perfect, but perfect won't be possible anyway. Hope you can make this advance from IC to GB quickly.

I'd like to know that as well.
An R3 "Fn" would be perfect for me since I always have my Function key on the CapsLock position. But CapsLock is 1.5U, not 1.25U?

40% OK.
Would have been really nice to see an R3 1.5U "Function". Seen on some SA sets before. But the big down-arrow does work as a representation for "Function" imo, so it's fine for me.

I just notice the absence of the F row or "R0". GMK brought back the old profile for this row as well. Wouldn't it be worth considering to offer this as well, maybe as addon kit?

There is a separate GB in the works for an R0 kit. But the point is not to create some kind of "OG mods kit". This is a compatibility kit for vintage doubleshot keycaps. F keys are already available in the vintage sets, so there's no need to include them here. The only reason the mods are included at all is because some people want to "update" the vintage sets with modern icons.

All old sets I have only contain stepped ones, either ANSI or ISO.
