In the event of, let's call it scarcity, a CITY would tear itself apart. The amount and rate of destruction would rise exponentially relative to population size.

This is really cool. I am not a 60 user but this might be the only 60 i get.
More
the viton strips on the top case is a neat idea, prolly provides some isolation from the btm case and adds some bounce.
the thickness of the top case is also nice, ive had problems with Glare tkl where the thickness is less and maybe contributes to the ping, and also maybe why using force break on glare tkl helps isloate the top case more. on the F1, the thickness of the top case matters less cuz again, viton strips on the top case provide some isolation.
overall good job!

Welcome to geekhack fellow human  :D

Sadly there aren't that many southpaw fullsizes or close to fullsize atm, and the one I know of the kangaroo doesn't support iso. The keychron q12 does have an iso barebones kit so that might have to be your best option atm, of course there are a lot of new projects happening so surely one will have southpaw with iso eventually.

Hello!
Yes, that is unfortunately true. I did observe the Southpaw75 DIY kit, which comes with an ISO layout as an option, but I currently do not possess the dexterity needed to properly solder all components onto the PCB. Additionally, I do not own a soldering iron either...
I believe I will stick to the Q12 ISO for now, and once I slowly build my soldering confidence, start my foray into custom boards such as the previously mentioned one. I might even try hand-wiring down the line!... In several years, that is. Hand-wiring as a building method scares me.
I am, however, very excited to see what projects I can complete in the future.
Thank you for the response!

If you can find it for under retail, then it should be a fine option if you are looking for a simple hotswap tkl for like experimenting. There is stuff coming up like the cycle 8 that's more expensive, but is alu and fills that role you want. But ducky should be fine. I would personally try to find something with via, like the ncr80 which has it, or milmax something else, But if you like the layout to begin with then it should be fine as well.

1. I hate 100% keyboards. Look ugly. Too big.

2. Hhkb to expensive for what it is.

3. SA keyboards. First keycap set was SA might have given up on this hobby because of them

4. Plastic cases. Im personally not a fan but can see why people chose it as a budget option. Or people new to the hobby.

5. artisan keycaps. Metal keycap for escape key cool and often good. But to many are over the top. Including resin keyaps.

This looks quite nice! Likely in for this GB. The Horangi boards also look fantastic.

Thanks boss, means a lot coming from you haha

Haha no problem.

Looking at the kitting again, I do have some feedback.

- For R2, 1.5u Backspace, you can actually fit Backspace as a single line instead of a two-liner. "Backspace" should be doable and looks fine. I'd personally prefer this, and I think others do, too; not sure if this was intentional, though!

You can't go wrong with Ducky. Especially if you are a beginner. Others may disagree and say oh you should be buying other boards from group buys but if you plan on using a reliable board for the long term, then Ducky is good

This looks very cool. Is the PCB supporting QMK?
