with all things considered, I think it was a fair price for Canadians and not such a great deal for Americans. My price is basically the same price I paid to import all this into Canada + Shipping. IT COULD HAVE BEEN MOAR, but i won't get into that.

Had I know you paid for the customs on both items, then it would have been a different story. That's all I wanted to hear - the regular price of $164+shipping as well as the keys, plus customs duties on both. That I can understand charging more for.

Do you see the difference? If there were no customs duties on either then you'd have overcharged by $40. That's the part I didn't get. Just because duties exist doesn't mean you should charge people for them.

Since you paid customs duties on both and factored that into the price, then you're final price was fair. I'm sorry for commenting to the opposite, you didn't make that clear.

And yes, I know what opportunity cost is. I've gone through several Economics courses and I've got 2 more to take. Not looking forward to it.

Game Theory class in Shanghai is going to be HELL.

It's not my responsibility to inform potential buyers of my costs nor to help them come to a conclusion whether it is a good deal. I'm sure the buyer did his own number crunching and came to the conclusion that he wasn't going to get a "brand new" board and kbc key caps for less that I was selling my set for. Regardless of whether I was charged taxes or not, the price (IMO) is fair if you consider the best and worst case scenarios for importing the items into Canada.

FYI, this is how i priced the package. $100 keyboard + $10 keycaps + $135 installation of keycaps = $245. I should have told the truth from the beginning.

Maybe my math is wrong, can someone correct me? I made no profit instead i lost a bunch of money on the keyboard and keycaps and made a bunch from my installation of the keycaps.

I don't know anymore, theres nothing out there interesting to try and I know I'm keeping my realforce. The Typenow Solid looks interesting but I don't think theres a resale market for that. YES I resll my headphones like I do my keyboards, the last ones to go were my HD595s because you got replaced with the HD650s. I think if anything I will let go my DT880s at a later point.

I would be interested in buying the typenow from you after you try it, but I dont think I could pay the extra duties. I like [H] Alot but they are no differant and have there own set of problems on their boards like the monitor nazis and the nvidia & ati flamewar threads, they also do have some threadcrapping problems if you check through the for sale section and the deals section. I see no supply and demand issue as it can be bought off ebay and directly from the shipper. I think ive come to the conclusion that its just too rich for my blood anyway
