Had to drive down the M6 yesterday in appalling rain. Visibility was about 10-20m as the spray was insane, and struggled to maintain 70mph...
That said I managed to pass 7 people who didn't have ANY lights on, and guess what, all 7 where women and two were sat in the slow lane doing 45mph... This meant that you would approach them at nearly double the speed they are doing, unable to see them until you where pretty much on top of them.

But it's ok because it's the men who can't drive.

The M6 is always a nice place to be. But when it's raining, you should always cut your speed in half. Always.

I ****ing hate other drivers.

People who go to the gym to socialise and take up all the machines, expecting me to realise their 5-10 minute break between sets doesn't actually mean they are done with the machinery.

Go take a class or something, and stop ruining leg day for me. I actually enjoy it.

As someone from the Axis Of Evil, I have to register with the police in the UK during the first 7 days.
Police registration is at 09.30 – 13.00 each Thursday. 3.5 hours. If I miss those, I'll be fined for 5000 pounds and deported. Woohoo!
Also, this "service" costs 34 pounds, and police only accepts cash and doesn't give change.
Also, I can't get a bank account before I register.
Also, I can't even ****ing go to the gym if I don't have a bank account.
I already love the UK!

Most companies have mandatory local accounts for any contract.
He could withdraw money from his Russian account... but I believe the issue is that because of the huge inflation of the Russian rubel every mayor credit card company has blocked Russian credit cards.

I didn't get this great job I was being interviewed for after a week-long interview process. My kitty Pixel is very sick and hasn't been eating for almost an entire week. I have been hand-feeding her and giving her pipettes of water, but half the time she throws it all up and I cannot afford vet care. Somethings wrong with my mom's hip replacement and there is a staff infection starting. She has to go back into surgery in a couple days. Found out 2 days ago my grandmother is on her death bed, the family expects her to pass within the next few days. Starting to get bill agency letters that sound very threatening. The job I am currently working recently cut back on hours in my department, and I am already struggling just to put food on the table. I also have a bad chest cold and non-stop heartburn that makes a wonderful combo of vomiting bloody mucus and acid. It has not been a good week.

What kind of job were you aiming for (what sort of industry do you work in)?  And damn man when it rains it pours but keep your head up there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

So I suffer from general anxiety disorder but I've always been able to manage my anxiety without the use of medication (so anti-pharma) but the last few days it's been really bad.  I'm starting to learn what stressors trigger it though and I blame work for it 100%.  Recently there were talks of me possibly taking over the manager of operations position but since original talks and setting kind of a plan nothing else has really been said except for a conversation with legal council that if anything just really ****ing confused me because lawyers have to dance around a subject and refuse to confirm nor deny any sort of solid plan which ended up with me being more confused about what is actually going on.  So basically the anticipation is literally killing.  I've been in the same side of management for 6 years and I really need new tasks to work on, feels like my mind is stuck on auto-pilot.

My Italian gf has no issue withdrawing money or paying for rent etc with her Italian bank account (which isn't even a proper bank acc)... I know she is apart of the EU but still not a UK account

I knew that, but not in details. Didn't know that I have to go to the Cardiff central police station on the particular day of the week, have the exact amount of money and fit in the tiny time frame. Also they say that the lady who does the registration is usually an hour late, so it's actually 2.5 hours.
What bothers me a little is that today I've noticed an error in my official offer letter (the one with the salary). On its front page, the name is mine, on the back side it's of another guy. I am supposed to bring the offer letter to the police station. And this document will only be fixed tomorrow morning. So I am going to take an employment contract with me to prove that I have work. Maybe it's for the best: the police lady won't laugh in tears looking at my salary figure.

Doesn't eBay auto-bid and only show some of the increments when new bidders place bids?  I don't think this even happens if he did keep increasing his bid, someone else would have to bid anyway.
