YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN AN HHKB. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US
My top two were a HHKB Type-S or a Gon.
GON and other Korean customs are not in my KB database, hence they were not eligible for the giveaway. You were fine since you mentioned the alternative, but there were at least 5-6 other folks who tweeted for GONs or other similar boards and got cut before I chose finalists. One guy asked for an Industrial SSK. Lolz.
Wait you tossed out people that tweeted GONS and etc?
There's some confusion here because you said tweet your dream keyboard, not the dream keyboard you want to win from me from the list.
Perhaps if you didn't read the website you might have missed that piece of info.
"ANY mechanical keyboard of your choice from the KeyChatter mechanical keyboard buyers guide."
Anyways, kind of didn't want to post this and most people don't care/don't read but for consistency's sake I hope people get this
It says #3 Tweet me your dream keyboard with hashtag #DreamKeyboard.
which is not the same as
#3 Tweet me your dream keyboard you'd like to win from this list (
http://www.keychatter.com/buyers-guide/) with hashtag #DreamKeyboard.
To break it down simply - tweet a board to be eligible to win - is actually what it says. Not - tweet a board you'd like to win.
I think the latter in the above ^ ended up being the case when the giveaway winners were being selected.
Hence, why I asked did people get thrown out?
In practice, there's some confusion in this here because people who tweeted for gons, customs or industrial SSKs
weren't actually asking for those boards, they just tweeted their dream board and then if they won they would be able to pick a board from the list.
Anyways, I think it was meant to be written like this:
#3 Tweet me your dream keyboard from (
http://www.keychatter.com/buyers-guide/) with hashtag #DreamKeyboard.
Anyways, not the biggest of deals but the final outcome was influenced by this.
