Keyboard Render Kit
« on: Sat, 02 January 2021, 11:20:33 »

I made a kit for Blender users with the goal of providing high quality and efficient assets as well as sane defaults for keyboard and keycap rendering. Discount link is good for the month of January.

This looks amazingly helpful! I’m excited to see how this will impact the volume and quality of ICs in the future.

Thanks, I've worked hard on this. I'm recording video documentation now while the kids are in bed.

Really nice to see and with the thought put into customization and some accessories like cables with aviator connectors.

Is this planned to be expanded upon in time (new boards added for example), and if so would previous purchasers receive such updates?

It won't let me check out, keeps saying "the discount code you wish to use is expired" but I don't even see a spot to enter one  help

I think this is phenomenal. I just purchased it. I've done quite a bit of 3D modeling work using Blender and FreeCAD, on and off, over the past couple of years to create models for my own personal projects. I think exploring new keycap designs and rendering them using the KRK will be my next project. Please continue improving this product. And thanks for developing this.
