I do not like it much also, but it is such a small and picky detail to let this nice set to pass, some of the keys in the set are very hard to find, or even impossible to find anywhere else, you should reconsider.

another group buy for this kind of set and classic colorway will probably not happen again for at least a long time.  personally i'm a text legends mods person, but i'm still getting into this buy since who knows when (or if at all) someone else will do all the work to organize another buy in the future, whether that will reach MOQ, they'll pick the win logo you like, etc.

you could always use black blanks from some other set if the win logos really bother you.

i'm not very knowledgeable about specific model numbers, but look for either G80 (MX) or G81 (terribad MY switches, but the caps are the same and work for MX), and the letter code suffix should begin with 'H' for doubleshots.

most of the cherry WoB boards seem to either have a top row of relegendables for the top function row, or the bottom row is unusable (the stems are in the wrong places) or have unfortunate items like pad printed windows keys.  this mod pack will solve the bottom row issue.

definitely order this pack if you think there is any chance you might want to use an OG cherry WoB keyset in the future.

For EU people usualy 25$ is OK. No Customs Officer will doubt this is the value for some plastic caps, but I did had some funny looks when I received caps with the full value declared, they looked at me as if I were some smugler and investigated each cap.

I was able to get NIB Cherry keyboards with WoB caps for cheap on eBay. Some common models are G80-8113/8200, and G81-7000. General rule: look for new condition Cherry G80/G81 keyboards with WoB caps. The fist letter after the model number has to start with 'H', like G80-8200HPBUS-2. G81 is MY keyboard, so the bottom row won't fit on MX keyboard (unless it's WKL?). G80-8113/8200 has relegendable for function area keys and number only for numpad and bottom row in WK layout. So even combining a NIB G81-7000 and G80-8113/8200, you won't be able to get one perfect set that works on any keyboard. Most keys work perfectly though, except the lack of 1.5 unit mods and 7 unit spacebar. And that's why this icon mod pack is so valuable. It allows you to combine the caps from G81-7000 (which you can get for cheap on eBay) and caps from this GB and get a perfect set that will work on any keyboard that you ever want to put WoB on.

yeah, there's no correct grave/backslash keys but there's ISO support because this pack is meant to replace the modifiers that you already have for your ISO or ANSI WoB set.

Not sure what you mean--the Control/Alt keys aren't icons, they're still spelled out.

I vote for the editing cluster for the TKL (Insert, Delete, Home, End, Pg Up, Pg Dn) as the extra keys. It would help make 1800 sets compatible with TKL and full size keyboards.

i would be fine with extra cost on massdrop if that will can push this mod pack to be successful.  however, it seems that this mod pack is quite niche and might not fly very well even on MD.

maybe a full set might fare better?  although it would probably still be a hard sell for the general public since it's basically the same colorway as their stock OEM sets.

Yea I doubt a mod pack/moogle kit would be too popular on MD, but a full set might be appealing.
