Will there be a full alu version?Do you want a full alu version? I am making polycarbonate on the bottom to maximize the light effect.
Tbh even if it doesn't this looks so neat I'm in for this also.

I can make a full alu keyboard at any time.
The design has already been completed and I am processing the sample now, so wait for the big update in April.
I think it would be interesting to see! I love the way the PC looks but I'm also interesting in seeing how a full alu version would look! It also depends on how much interest there is for a full alu version :) if there's enough interest it might be worth it!Will there be a full alu version?Do you want a full alu version? I must say I'm a little confused as to why this is called a 70%, when this looks to be about the same layout as any other 75% board, other than a WKL option. Personally when I think of a 70%, I picture a 60% with an F-Row, which there aren't enough of in my personal opinion. All the same, It looks really nice!I learned from your article that the name 70% may be confusing. Exactly ud_70 has a 75% layout.
What's the typing angle, and is there an approximate price estimate?Angle is 8 degrees. Please wait for the big update in April for more details.
I really like the idea of the polycarbonate bottom. It will be interesting to see if it affects the sound much.
I probably won't be in for this because 75% is too big for me to use regularly, but I'd love to see a 60% or smaller in this design. Edit: looks like the UD-40 has the same case design. Nice!
interested in the full polycarb for sure, would it support split backspace?Yes. split backspace support.
I like very much this layout, the only thing that I would modify is the spacing of the Function keys: the right side of F12 should be aligned to the right of the backspace... The only reason to buy this keyboard over similar layouts is the use of standard function keys, so they should respect a consolidated and universal spacing that allows you to press them without actually looking. I find the WKL version particularly pleasing and balanced. Really a nice keyboard :thumb:

What plate options would be be looking at. Any chance of an acrylic or polycarbonate option?Plate is considering aluminum and stainless steel, PBT option.
Thanks for bringing this to IC. I'm glad to see more 75% boards coming thorough. A few suggestions:Thanks a lot for suggestions.
- side bezels feels rather thin. Adding a little width might make this look more balanced.
- spot LED feels sparse. Perhaps add more LEDs and/or diffuser to create a contiguous illumination effect?
- the wavy look of the side casing feels mismatched with the overall angular design is the keyboard. Not sure what can be done done there, but it should better match the overall design.
So far so good, hopefully you can make additional adjustment tweaks. Looking forward to how this evolves before GB launch!

There is a 60% layout keyboard design in the instagram.
board name is 60+
Please check and ask for feedback if you have suggestions.
I'd be interested in a full polycarb! I like the spacing in the function row.The arrow key layout is only available for winkey layouts.
Is the bottom row layout with the arrow keys only available in a winkey layout?
Also will there be a brass plate option?
Very interesting. I'll keep an eye on this.
i like the look of the brass with PC, im interested
Agree. I think CNC Alu is the best case material for a board, but I do like tasteful underglow and it seems like this may have it. Even a partial Alu would work for me. I have the alu Kira and it’s really nice just having the lighting underneath it.I think it would be interesting to see! Genuinely curious, wondering what the benefits are of WKL or if it’s purely aesthetic

This looks sick!We are now working on the first sample. It will be completed by the end of March, and I will be able to release the real thing, not the renderer.
Estimate on price? I think I may be in regardless. It’s such a unique look!

Also, any ability to buy Ratrap’s still? I think they’re a super neat idea and would be interested! The plan of Ratrap is still valid. However, some problems were found during sample production.

Any chance of alps support?PCB does not support Alps. sorry
This board has great symmetry. Too many boards try and cram so much in that balanced looks like this are difficult. Hope it remains close to the original idea as possible. The most important thing when I design this keyboard is balance. I think the balance is symmetrical.

Full Alu + PC Half Plate possible?
I'l still in anyways.
The top row really helps with my OCD. :p :p :p
Very interested, love the even blockers on the F row
Not a big fan of super thin side bezels though

I’m the exact opposite. I love thin side bezels. I feel the whole point of a compact layout is to save desk size and space. I look at boards like the grid600 and think, that’s almost as big as a TKL without the functionality. If I’m giving up functionality, a decreased footprint better follow. Although I’m not so much concerned about top and bottom bezels as most have plenty of desk space in that direction.
I want to hear a variety of opinions and apply it to the UD keyboard. I think that process is IC. I still have time until summer so I want to hear as many opinions as possible. Thank you for your good feedback.Very interested, love the even blockers on the F row

Absolutely in for this, as long as split backspace is available on the WKL (which looks possible if I am not mistaken)Okay
Hoping PC stays as an option for the GB too.
Any idea of pricing?
Top and bottom bezels could be reduced to match the side ones if conserving space is a concern, and it would still look symmetrical:Reducing the top and bottom bezel can cause problems during processing.Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/QctHHrG.jpg)I’m the exact opposite. For me, the thin bezel is the selling point of this board; this board looks unique because of that, and its a clean design; even bezels would take away from the distinction, and make it similar to any ordinary board. The picture above (in my opinion) takes away all the appeal for me - making it look like an average board. Thanks for the good feedback :)

Having the logo cut out with something in behind to stop dust getting in would be coolThe location of the logo may change at any time. Thank you for your good feedback.
2. Can the bottom PC be frosted/opaque, so the LEDs are nicely diffused? Perhaps move the LEDs away from the edges?

Looking good. I'm interested. I hope all the screws are the same size.Use the screws of the M3(ansi) specification. They're all the same size.
