There is no 'too much' with Topre!

I do not understand the use of the phrase "too much" and "Topre" in the same sentence.

There are only 4 keyboards in that photo.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's amazing how much of difference the sound of my HHKB changes when I put it on my desk mat, instead of just my bare desk.

It's so much more nice sounding with some padding.  :)

I actually cut up one of those large desk mats, and taped it to the bottom of my HHKB. I'm liking it so far, and you can't even tell its there since I cut it about 1/4 inch short on each side. I may eventually attach it in some more permanent fashion.

Also back to silenced. I like having a black 'type-s'  :)

Nothing in particular atm, but I really appreciate the offer! Maybe one day though - I'll keep it in mind :)

I try my best to keep an eye on local facebook groups, but we get the short straw on a lot of new releases and collabs. It makes it really hard to try to pick them up in the first place, then those that do get anything hold on to it as if their lives depended on it. Hopefully sneaker culture grows a bit more in Australia as people get tired of wearing thongs every day of their lives >:D then things will start to get more interesting.
