transcend3nt, nice video review. this will probably be my next kb. if and when i get mine, i'll be covering up the space bar LEDs though. the green trying to shine through the non-transparent black looks ugly

I don't believe those are mutually exclusive. They should come with all the keyboards AND I am special!

BTW, the LEDs look REALLY slick in person. I'm not one for fluff, but I did get an "oooo" from eherzog.

Just found out that the limited edition Pure is back lit and the normal is not..............that's good as I dont want back lit

You could replace all the LED's yourself, though it's time consuming. What I'm trying to say here is that anything is possible.

I looked through the topic: Larry never said anything, but at least three people asked about PBT. Reaper said that if it was like the poker they would be, but I doubt they can do it in clear. I'm-a go with ABS on this one.

PeterDLai, did you mean white keycaps with green LEDs backlighting them, or black keycaps with white LEDs backlighting them? Personally, I'd like the black keycaps with orange LEDs backlighting them... or full-spectrum, programmable LEDs! ;-)

PS: I have been billed. Does that mean the order has been submitted, and a tracking number will soon be on its way to me/us? :-)

PPS: The "when will it arrive" formula gives me an IRRATIONAL number. :-/

Why don't you get one or a few red switches to test it out first? Getting the wrong switch is always a decision to regret. However, I think red switches are awesome.. you shouldn't have any problems with them

Just need to know from iMav or from those who already might have in their possession the RACE White Keyset, are the Key-caps painted in white over a translucent material or is it a double-shot with a clear typeface manufactured into each piece?

Please let me know.

Would love a photo showing behind the top-face and letting us see the cherry-stem.

Looking for a White illuminated keyset but so many I've seen are all painted.

I have not seen the white RACE keycaps in person yet. But I have. I reason to believe their quality is subpar.

Additionally, I have no idea whether these keycaps are PBT or not.

Finally, at this time, there are not multiple LED colors to choose from.

Tracking info for the Poker order is in that thread. This order will go in at the end of the month (Jan).
