Damn, lucky!  My friend went and saw them a few years back and he said they put on an incredible show, he said it reminded him of Converge's stage presence.

That Expire album is pretty good.  I've given it a few spins.  Haven't got a chance to listen to all of the new ETID, but from what I've heard, I dug it.

Apparently there were less than 500 tickets total, so getting in for general admission is lucky as ****... it's a really small charity event.

I think I've had 4 songs from it up on Pandora thus far.  One was pretty decent, another so-so.  The other two were given thumbs down already.  I haven't liked much from them since And Justice so I'm not holding out lots of hope.

Sweet Leaf, N.I.B, The Wizard, Children of the Grave, and Paranoid are all great songs but they have plenty more.

Honestly I think my favorite Sabbath stuff is with Dio on vocals.  I, Heaven and Hell, and Sign of the Southern Cross were pretty damn awesome.  Particularly if you can get the Radio City Hall live versions with them as the band Heaven and Hell.

Ah, metal. I like metal. Been listening to Death quite a bit recently for some reason. I like stoner, doom and drone and stuff. And a lot of heavy rock that probably doesn't count. I'm really picky though.

I left my band at the beginning of this year because I got bored of it. We were a sludge, stoner, heavy rock kind of thing. Did ok with it. Got to tour Canada last October. I basically have since filled my time with keyboard stuff (so rock n roll). Now I'm itching to start a new band again.

Here's a vid from my band if you're interested, the song is based on true life prostitution that goes on in my garden:

related: I'm looking to trade tickets with someone who has some for a later date if anyone's interested

Ha! Cheers. I always have trouble with knowing what's known... Our Canadian tour was with Black Mastiff which is Clay from Clutch's band. We also played with Circle, Ten Benson, Gallon Drunk, Oozing Wound, The Skull... a couple of years ago we replaced Goblin at a festival in Portugal which is probably the coolest thing we did. Definitely the biggest stage/crowd. That was pretty good fun.
