I am considering all future Fallout themed Novelty keycaps to be SA Row 3 in support of people's existing Nuclear Data set.

Good idea, or bad idea?

Also, I have taken some criticism for the color difference. All Vault # keycaps will feature the Yellow on Blue in memory of the jumpsuits worn throughout the franchise. If other color choices are desired, I don't mind posting them as variants I suppose. My concern at this point is whether or not I will be able to get three digits inside the Vault 'sprocket.' I know that Melissa @ SP will help with that...

I'd say he's highly recognizable. So, not so much a copyright as a registered trademark. Now, Popeye in the same pose, that _might_ work. Although he's more a '40s char but still.

Hmm. Maybe you could talk to Overmare Studios about a pipbuck-pony key? Same overall feel but a quadrupedal female form of vaultboy. Or are fans of FoE too much of a niche market?

I emailed asking about combined shipping, because they were a 'related' product, and Melissa replied that, no since they're separate projects they'll have separate shipping times / costs.

So, since it's just one key, it may well ship sooner.
