Has anyone tried using any of the NEEDforSEAT/DXRACER chairs? How are they? I've seen a lot of sc2 progamers using them, and some teams sponsored by them. But how do they compared to more expensive ergonomic chairs made by Herman Miller, Steelcase, etc?
They don't seem to have fully adjustable lumbar support or arms, though those features are not always necessary.

I have this, it feels very nice although not a DXRacer, but it sure does look like one. : P

Not sure how good the NEED for SEAT chairs are, but Herman Miller chairs are very good as long as you get a size that fits you. Ergonomics wise, Herman Miller definitely makes one of the best chairs. NEED for SEAT seems more like a racing chair on wheels, and you are just adding an extra $150 for wheels. If I was to guess which one is better, I would say Herman Miller. Racing seats may be fine for a few hours but for sitting for really long periods of time you probably would want the best you can get.

Yeah I've tried the high-end HM and steelcase chairs already and went with the Amia a while ago. I was just curious to see how the DXRacers, or I guess racing seats, would compare to established names.

That's actually quite interesting, those chairs are very reasonably priced compared to some of Steelcase or Herman Miller's stuff. I think their official site is this: http://www.dxracer.com/
By the way, if anyone watches league of legends, those chairs look a lot like the ones they have at the LCS going on right now. You can kind of see the distinct tops in this picture, http://na.lolesports.com/sites/default/files/styles/article_image/public/RiotGames-Karen-Ducey-090112-PAX-86910.JPG?itok=dGs9FLB4
edit: I guess they actually are, the site says they sponsor a lot of these gaming tournaments

I just stumbled across Harachair Nietzsche Ergonomic Office chair on ebay for like 200 bucks.
Apparently it's loaded with KOREAN TECHNOLOGY.

It looks very nice, but i don't think it excels in comfort wise, or at least I wouldn't think so.
