[IC] GMK Current

Hi all,

This is an interest check for a keycap set I've been sitting on for a while:

GMK Current

First, some renders:




The main focus for the set is the contrast between the yellow legends and the turquoise key colors, which
is supposed to give an electrical current type of vibe.

Let me know any and all feedback you guys have, especially if some of the keys I included don't make sense or
if I'm missing anything. I have some novelties in mind, and I'm open to any suggestions.

If there's enough interest here I'd like to make a massdrop poll and hopefully get this listed there, but I'd like
to make any suggested changes first.

Muted Aero alphas with muted Nautilus mods. Kinda cool though.

Not sure if you guys are saying otherwise, but I think there are enough differences between these three for Current to still exist.
I'm open to suggestions to differentiate the set more though.

Looks great! Really like the colours! I personally prefer this over aero - and I do think this is different enough. I personally think it's super silly if this is a no-go because if this level of similarity.

I like it and I dig that you’re playing on the sizzle in the eye of yellow on teal.  I could see though perhaps with the typeface so small that in real life under regular lighting conditions it might become blobs as tired eyes try to reaolve it. Think of a really gaudy webside with bright red text on bright blue, You can feel the effort as you read. If they’re a little bigger and thinner  maybe that sizzle will stay but without being hard on the eye?

Agreed - and Aero frankly is too bright to my eyes.

I agree with the sentiment that this different enough to coexist with Aero. Sure it does remind me of it a little bit, but this I would buy TBH. Also there has been so many custom key caps sets run at this point you can find similarities in almost every set proposed nowadays. There is only so many colors, so I more judge on the theme of the set when it comes to feeling like it's stepping on toes or not.

I would definitely be interested in this set, I really like the way it all comes together!
