I'm mostly guessing that it's injection molding or perhaps a pressure pot? But he said "Big boy machines" so I was assuming it was injection molding. Could be another process with tight tolerances though.

Yeah I should have blown them all off before I took the picture. I didn't capture it very well but that white one has a light purple on the top half.

Now that you mention it, it is a little faded. But it's still one of my favorite. It got dusty from sitting on my keyboard for to long.
