Last update for the week:
Disassembly of previously packed kits are kits are now complete.
We have started packing Grey basic kits with alu plate and 8deg feet, as well as Black basic kits with brass plate and 8deg feet (gnarlsagan I think one of yours falls here). These will start shipping next week.
The stainless steel feet is now separate from the rest of the kit & individually wrapped. The PCBs have also been inspected for proper RGB functionality. This is what the new package layout looks like:
To the people worried that the PCBs are "floating" inside the case, yes, it might seem loose but we've done enough testing to be confident that they're unlikely to get damaged from being shipped in this manner.
I have also taken a bunch of PCBs home to reflow over the weekend. Will probably do them while watching Netflix or something.
I'm heartened to hear that TerryMatthews has successfully reflowed his board. We are thinking of making a Google form to poll others who would like to do the same (the SMD RGB LEDs will of course be supplied by us). Opting to do this would expedite your order and reduce the load on our team.

Finally, I would like to address the people who were expecting to receive their orders by Christmas, but seem to have given up hope.
When I volunteered to help out with the project, we set a goal to ship all poly bottom orders (both basic & premium) by mid-December so you could get them for Christmas.
This target would probably have been met, had the issues with the PCBs and cracked poly not surfaced. Unfortunately sh*t happens, and we're doing our best to deal with it. To those who understand & forgive us for this, thanks a lot. Your words of encouragement in this thread does have a positive effect on our working environment. As for those who are still bitter, I do hope you come around sooner or later. I still believe the end product will justify the long wait.
Have a good weekend.
