Backlit Dvorak kit?
« on: Fri, 14 February 2014, 20:29:57 »
Its been ages and I still have not seen anyone come out with a translucent/transparent set of caps for running DVORAK on a backlit board.
Does such a thing exist?
I want to pick up a backlit keycool 84 but I type using DVORAK, and it would bug me looking at QWERTY all the time.
Does such a thing exist? Or am I relegated to using transparent blanks or Deck/TG3 keycaps?

And no, stickers are not an option.

I use my dvorak PBT dyesub set on a backlit board. The keycaps are normal PBT, but look great over LEDs, and the legends are still clear

So it depends on what, exactly, you're after. If it's keycaps designed for back lighting in mind, then it's flat profile / TG3 for you. Otherwise, most Dvorak sets are compatible with backlighting with various degrees of success. I like imsto's best.
