What would a used black Filco Majestouch 2 be worth?
About 3 years of use, 108 keys, non-ninja version, with a red ESC key and the WASD keycaps have been replace with yellow ones. I don't have the original keycaps.
Most of the letter keys are a bit shiny, but all the keys work fine.

Would I be correct to assume that a G80-3000HAD of similar condition would cost me around 35~40 euros excluding shipping?

And how much do these usually weigh(box and all)?

Hi everyone; I have a couple of older devices and want to get an idea of price before I post them for sale.

fkbn87m/eb filco tenkeyless with browns.  I think this is an 'original' majestouch.  It was used for a day or two before I decided to go with a fullsized board.  No glossy keys or anything like that.  Comes with keypuller, ps2 adapter, and red WASD keys.

fkb22mb filco numberpad.  It was literally never used, but I cannot find the box anywhere.

Both are 3, maybe 4 years old.

Thanks all

Bump - any input is hugely appreciated.  I haven't seen many filco boards lately, which is odd since they were so popular years ago.

MJ2s in great condition go for about €100 or slightly less in EU, from what I've observed so far.

This one is an original majestouch.  From what I can tell, the difference is minimal.  Some people say the original has less "ping".  I have both MJ1 and 2 and don't see any difference other than the logo color.

MJ2 has a better PCB and all models support NKRO through PS/2, while some old MJs were only 2KRO (gold logo ~ NKRO, silver logo ~ 2KRO IIRC). This means the old MJ is worth less.

Even the MJ2 can be found for cheaper than €100. I've bought the two near mint condition (without ping), one for less than €80 the other for less than €90 shipped to me!
Majority of original MJ have 2KRO so I would say around €60 you can find a buyer pretty quickly. But they are not very common on the market so you can try little higher and with time lower it until someone snags it :)
This sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before.

I have a bunch of buckling spring keys and the hammer and spring assemblies from some wheelwriter 15 keyboards. That includes the code key, big-ass enter, non-homing F and J keys, and whatever else is on there.

What would they be worth?

Asked before but no reply, so I'm gonna try again. How much would a 1 or 2 month old Realforce 87U with mix 45g+55g worth? It's basically a donor keyboard for my HHKB mod.

Probably around $175 or so.

It seems to me like 45g Realforces take a relatively long time to sell on here. Not to say that you shouldn't try; it's just worth noting.

Cool, if you guys think its only worth about $60, I'll just keep it or possibly offer it for trade if I can find anything I like.

I got a IBM XT with box, but it appears there's a crusty connection to the electronics inside or something, meaning it outputs gibberish occasionally.

The first one (E5XKBM10410) is a BTC 51xx, decent for an OEM rubber dome. You are right that non-stabilized keycaps can be used on other MX-compatible keyboards, but they look rather lasered than doubleshot to me. Useful only if someone needs that specific national legends, or as temporary keycaps for some experiments or something. Worth basically nothing IMHO, perhaps if it were NIB… or doubleshot.

The other (AQ6MEMB-74004) is a NMB keyboard as the FCC ID says, and there's also the part "MEMB", which makes me think it's a rubber dome as well. These usually aren't bad as long as they aren't too filthy and heavily used or damaged. However, they're barely worth anything (resale value).

Thanks hoffy but I actually bought a v2 pcb for my v1 case and have a v2 lined up to be purchased on payday.
i love you for thinking of me. I know a few other people are looking though. shouldn't be too hard to find the right buyer. glws.   :)

edit: I paid 370 for my v1 including shipping, which seems a little cheap; I feel I got a really good price there.
http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=56877.0 v2 GB thread <---
says it cost 370 before shipping there. I'd say 400-450 + shipping seems fair.
I'm paying 480+shipping for my v2 I have lined up to buy, but I'm trying to negotiate a little lower.

I paid $150 for my pink blanks a few months ago. Pink took a while to sell out on EK back when production ended, and I think they were even down to $60 at one point, so I wouldn't be surprised to see other colors go for $200 or more. They almost never come up for sale, though.

Having trouble selling my Filco limited Yellow 104. I'm asking $135 (paied $160 off Amazon,) which I thought was fair.
I mean, the board is rare enough I've never seen one in the classifieds, and it's well done with manufacturing so you'd think it would sell but it's been almost 2 months. Is it because people don't like MX browns, or should I lower the price even more?

I had to sell mine on Ebay. I don't see a lot of Full size boards sell well in the classifieds.

I think $135 is a great price (depending on condition).

Pls help me price these items, specifically the novelty caps in the lower left corner:

I was thinking $2.50 per cap for rows 3&4 (they are $3.25 new), but what about rows 1 & 2?

Also, the pictured Warmaster and Armor...are they worth any more than the original price?

Lastly, the Techkeys business cards assembled with MX Blues... Maybe $12 each?

Please let me know what you think, just trying to be fair with my pricing.   Thanks!

I have two boards just sitting and think I may want to just move on from them but I cant seem to find much history for sales on one and the other has been quiet for a while as well...

Matias Quiet Pro full size.  Spacebar has some shine to it otherwise in excellent shape.  1-2 months of use just typing.  I have box, paperwork, etc.

QFR w/ Reds.  Again, spacebar has some shine otherwise in excellent shape.  I have box, paperwork, etc.

I was guessing $60-ish for the QFR.

No clue on the Matias, I know it's full size and not all that popular period so that may hurt things.

Hey, I have a Ducky Shine II (Cherry MX Blue) [White LED] completely stock and I was wondering how much it was worth?

I got it new for $146.00 at the very beginning of last year. The only thing bad about it is if you press down really hard on the "A" key and you wiggle it from left to right, it will squeak just a tad.

I'm looking at selling this to get something with MX Red switches.

IBM Model M Version 1394312 1994-12-12 , I might have a deal for 35€ + shipping . Would it be worth it ?
Also how hard/expensive is it to make it usable on a modern keyboard (PS2/USB) .

Unicomp makes custom keycaps for those right ?

That would be high in the US, although cheaper than a new Unicomp.

Do you really want the 122 layout? If you already have a Soarer's/Teensy that makes it easier.

"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

That would be high in the US, although cheaper than a new Unicomp.

Do you really want the 122 layout?

Mostly interested in it because I want to get/restore some vintages keyboards . I never touched Buckling spring so it'd be a first .

If you already have a Soarer's/Teensy that makes it easier.
I have none of those , what is necessary to make it works with a mordern computer ?

Shiny Cherry DS set probably something like $15-30 depending on how shiny.

Model M 1394946 industrial?  Works fine, just some surface scuffs and such.

I'd guess around $250.

MX? Who made them?  They look like Poker mods to me.  If so, I'd say $5.
