Price check on XT with internal soarer?

XTs sell at prices all over the board. A Teensy costs $20.

Clean, wired-up,tested and working? At least $30-50 over the average ebay price of the last 10 XTs sold.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

If you're really sure it's never, ever been used and it's in perfect condition.. $150 probably isn't far off.

I don't think its fair for you to PC something you bought from someone to see if it was a steal or what especially if you were already satisfied with the price he sold it for, otherwise you wouldn't have taken it.

You don't think it's fair? Just wanted to know if I could have bought them separately for a better price,  I'm sure I'll like the keyboard and I'm fine with what I paid,  I was just wondering if others agreed

You almost certainly would have paid quite a bit more for everything separately.

Agreed. Retail on a new Tex case is $120, Poker II is ~$100 and the gasmask is another $22, so $240 shipped seems very fair since you essentially got the leds, switch tuning & keycaps for free.

Don't forget that people normally dont sell their gasmasks at 22 because most members are collecting them. Btw Mythical the switches were also vintages compared to the stock.

I know but I don't flip my artisans, I never charge more than retail cost if selling, so that's my personal baseline for pricing - and you are right vintage blacks are definitely worth more.

I think the point is this:

If you want to post a price check in here to gauge if something you want to buy is priced right, that is probably a good idea, before you go ahead with the purchase.

If you need to check the value of something before you sell it, that's a good idea, also.

After you purchase something, coming here to see if you got a good deal or not is maybe not wise. You will either confirm that you got a fair deal, find out you got an amazing bargain (in which case the seller might find this thread and be filled with regret), or find out you overpaid (in which case you will be the one filled with regret). Once you as a buyer and the seller come to an agreement on price, that IS the value of the item. Something is worth exactly what one person is willing to sell it for, and another person is willing to pay for it.

Roughly 100 MX blacks desoldered form a new board, I was thinking 40ish, does this seem inline or is it too much?
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

XTs have been selling on ebay for anywhere from $30–100, without any obvious reason for the variable price.

How much is reasonable to buy an IBM PC AT (F AT) keyboard for(okay wear)?

I paid $200 for one, but they were a bit hard to find at the time. They have been selling for $125-150 lately.

I agree with JD. There is a nice looking one on ebay now for $150 shipped. I expect it'll sell in a day or two.
