If it's only dusty but otherwise in very good condition, that's a fine price. Is it the square logo or the oval logo? If square, it's an even better deal.

Crack it open and give it a good cleaning. At that date, there is still a good chance that it has the heavy plate.

I have to order the nut driver for it, but yeah I'll do that.

I'm pretty sure it needs a bolt mod, the -key on the numpad only works if I hammer it down. All of the other keys on the board work just fine, though.

In a few months, I may send it to Phosphor, I don't do DIY cause it always goes badly.

Isn't there both a dyesub and lasered version of the fc660c keycaps?  I'd guess the lasered ones are not worth nearly as much if it happens to be those.

I paid the same some half a year ago. I didn't even know it was from 1987, since the sticker was missing, but when I opened it up, I saw on the controller that it is from June 1987 (if 2387 means 23rd week of 1987). Does your's have stabiliser wires on plus and endter keys on numpad?

The spacebar, Numpad +, and Numpad Enter, all use wire stabs.

The backspace, shift keys, and enter key, all use the "barrel" type.

That's ANSI, not ISO.

Probably not worth trying to sell them, stock caps sell for maybe $5. My personal preference is to always hold onto stock caps, in case I ever want to sell the board.
