hey guys, looking to get some idea what my IBM screenreader is worth, not sure how best to sell it. only a handful have surfaced hence the lack of pricing information

Selling as whilst im still into keyboards and tech, I dont have the time or space for collecting.
Also just got back from a 6 month London to Moscow moped ride and short on cash.





note: I do not have the help/stop keys but the replacement pictured will be supplied.
note: Keyboard will need an active converter made to work with modern computer interfaces

Hello everyone...

I stumbled across a couple of very clean model M boards (buckling springs), trying to get a general idea of value and interest.

Both have oval grey IBM logos on upper left corners (not silver square or oval blue), have removable PS2 cables, and are very clean.

1) 1994 Lexmark (made for IBM)

2) 1992 IBM (MADE IN USA)

I would appreciate input as to their value and or demand (range is preferred) - I'm a cherry guy, just stumbled across them and want to find them good homes... Need to know whats fair and reasonable range as far as asking prices.  Fleabay has Lexmark versions around $50, and the IBM version going as high as $275 (shocked! - but its fleabay ~ not the real world)

$50 to maybe $125 depending on condition and if it has been bolt modded/requires bolt modding. The 275 one is probebly a space saver or a new in box one. Or the seller needs more drugs.

If i was to buy one i would consider $75 a good deal if all rivets were still good. 85-110  would be fair if it was older model and over $110 a little pricy.

But then again an item is really worth what someone is willing to pay.

Regarding that one on fleabay - its was not a ssk, nor was it new.  The seller apparently is outta-their-mind... LOL

How much is a used G80 1800 German Layout with ABS Double Shot keycaps worth?

MX Blacks, PS/2 connector and card reader (im not even sure for what kind of cards). It looks like this:



but only the right card reader and smaller (in red).

The keycaps are a little dirty but I think after cleaning they should be very nice. I think about keeping the caps myself but I have a 100% board and had to mix them with my existing caps.

I'm new to this and I could get the thing for 25 Euro. After most other vintage cherrys seem to go for near 100 I'm not sure if there is some kind of caveat and the real value is basically 0.

Hi guys, I recently came across a new in box Monterey K108 and I've checked that it has SMK Blue Monterey switches. From the sticker under it that seems to have been put on there from the original retail seller it is from the early 90s. It's in excellent condition and the keycaps seem to be high contrast dye sub PBT in alps mount.

Someone on geekhack is trying to sell Rosewill keyboard, Cm Quickfire Rapid, Ducky Zero keyboard for $180 each. That's like $150 more than the price of a normal secondhand board on ebay. Can the switches be so special?

Since these are fairly abundant I would suggest using the costs on pimpmykeyboard as a starting point. You may get a bit more since the ergo's are a bit more rare.

$180 might be a bit high, but if you can get a CM keyboard in good condition for $30 then that's a pretty great deal. I recently sold a Pok3r with Zealios for $150. Until recently Zealios cost a dollar a switch, so $180 was probably the cost of producing the boards they are trying to sell. I'll also point out that there are not many full sized zealios boards out there.

At the end of the day $150 may be closer to realistic.
