Still what? George Lucas has made enough money, as has Disney. The other designs people are talking about are ones created by community members. I think it's fair to say to not touch those designs without permission.

I would stick with freshly-drawn designs or pretty general big names for those that dont participate on GH, like the Cherry logo.
I wonder if you can make this process cheap and mass produce enough to make acrylic doubleshot keycaps. They might be more lasting than ABS and be usable on illuminated keyboards to boot.These are not double shot, they are cut/etched from acrylic sheets, and then stuck using solvent.
$3 per key is dirt cheap for custom keycaps, but ultra expensive/ unaffordable if buying 104 for use on a keyboard.
How high will these be? What is the size of the gap inbetween the base of the stem and the base of the side walls?

I realized some of my friends across a few oceans missed out, due to the day-night time difference, hence I will open this up for a limited numbers more. Also doing this so that the acrylic sheet is better accommodated.
Good news is, thanks to this awesome community, who are willing to throw money at a noob like me, the numbers were great so far, thus the prototype will now use the exact same dimensions as the final planned keycap, not just 4mm. And if for the final numbers are good, we could have colored top layers as well!!! Yipee!
Exact number of open slots will be declared soon enough. Get your ideas ready! :)

I am with nubbinator on this. A "P" somewhere on the key would be a great addition (as long as it is not on the face of the key).

There are no more available keycaps, if someone gives up their slot, then you can have that keycap if it is one of the keycaps from the originals, if it is custom you can choose yourself. All this is only if someone gives you their slot.

Noone has paid yet, everyone is just confirming orders, I'm waiting for a package to reach jdcarpe, to estimate shipping times and those logistics.
Once it reaches them, I will invoice everybody.
And spamray, once this is successful, no, I will not get a vendor forum, as I am not looking to make money out of this, any extra money I make, I will declare and that would only be for my time.
I'll have this as a GB, a fixed time frame and then done, maybe do another id there is demand and I have time. Since getting one key cut in acrylic is not feasible when getting it done from a machinist and you don't have one at work, so this is going by the GB model. If the mods/admins feel differently, they can give me a vendor forum, I'll still be running it the same way.
I just ask since this is posted in classifieds and you may eventually make money with these, that seems to qualify you as a vendor. Just don't want your thread getting locked unnecessarily.

Problem is I don't have a LED backlit keyboard, although I will trywork something out in any case.
How sensitive are the guys to scratches ? As far as I know acrylic is not very good in that department :-(

edit: Looks like he could use a veneer.
I think the more clear option looks a little cleaner. It gives off a different reflection when backlit and you can see the design better (or it may just be the picture). It is hard to tell that the middle one is bunny's avatar.

I was trying to figure it out. Looked like a zergling or something. It's totally BL.
That being said, I like the "Frosted" look a thousand times better than the white.
What settings are being used with the laser? Those look like rather low fidelity engravings. I'm used to seeing far more detail from laser engraved acrylic.

You can made with new logo on your cap that you created but we are not agree if you used CC skull 's logo, Smile logo from DangWang, Gasmask from Gasmask factory and other logo from other creator ....... It's genuine by CC, Gasmask ..... and infect in value of each genuine.
Exemple: If you pay 500$ for Translucent Skull by Click Clark on GH market, are you accept other guy who made replicate and sale it on GH market ?????????

All but xmagusx's ceamocaps were shipped, yours will be shipped along with the keychain (It might have already, I will have to go through the shipping receipts).No worries. If you can let me know when it's gone out, that's groovy, but I know you're swamped right, so no need to make it any kind of priority. I trust that you'll make sure it all gets to me.
If anyone wants the tracking details, please let me know, I'd like to let you know however that tracking is wonky, sometimes it is for detailed, other times it is not, so it's a hit and a miss really.

The one on the esc is actually my least favorite and my favorite is the thundercats
Overall, I'm happy with the product, sad no more will be made. Secretly happy since no one else have these >:D
