Welcome to my IC!
Taking inspiration from my previous set and recreating it into Cherry Profile for a set that captures the silent, still, and overwhelmingly beautiful essence of moonlit Southern midnights. Its soft, desaturated blue glow translated perfectly to keycaps.

A kit that provides compatibility for the most common to some of the more obscure layouts. Included but not limited to a compatibility of 3 key 40's support, thorough coverage for 60's and also coverage for 65%, 75%, TKL, 1800, and full-size boards.

pretty sweet! kitting is good, keeps all the essentials. arrows in sb kit is a really nice bonus. novelties play into the set well.

what I take issue with, I don't think the set fits well with the name. Nightlights aren't really blue and light blue. I think a name change might reflect the colors better.

Really nice shades of blues you picked up here Frosty, amazeballs renders as well, really well done.

The labeling on the 40s keys in the base kit is a bit confusing, but should be understandable enough, solid IC otherwise.

I think the second R2 novelty key should be different instead of a duplicated key and a Backspace novelty would be better. A duplicated R2 1u key does not seem to fit in any current popular layouts imo. Or you could replace that duplicated key with an ISO enter novelty. Just my 2 cents.

40s in base is great and I really appreciate the comparisons to other sets! Hammerhead was the first thing that came to mind for me but seeing them side-by-side definitely makes me appreciate the slightly paler tones on nightlight :thumb:

My only concerns are:
  • are you sure those novelties can be manufactured in their current designs?
  • how does the inclusion of accent arrows affect the spacebar kit pricing?

These novelties were designed with these limitations in mind but I will look into it again just in case.
My hope is the cost of the arrows doesn't impact the spacebar kit very much but I will not know if that is the case until I get those quotes but until then I will def look into it.

Yeah, funny thing is I also thought of Hammerhead as well while coming up with the set to then go on and look at it and realize its not similar. Thanks for the kind words!

The set is looking nice and is a good improvement over SA Nightlight. The redone novelties and the updated alpha, mod, or accent color make the set quite unique, fixing my original criticism of it being too close to Mizu.  I will be looking forward to seeing this go into group buy.

Hey! Glad to see you like the set! Due to the MOQ associated with GMK sets it is not very likely but I will most definitely try to see what I can do about that! Also re: the ISO novelty, if I'm able to get a novelty that I'm happy with I'll definitely get that done!

I passed on SA because I just for the life of me could not figure out what color those mods were going to turn out to be. They seemed a little too green for my liking.

I think the colors this go round appear to work much better (at least these renders do).

You put 40's in base, so I must buy. Good job!

Hi, I want to echo the iso enter novelties and also add a new thing: the code key in base kit: I think it's better to replace Code with System or Super since Code does not do the same function as System.

ISO Enter was considered, it will happen if I am able to get a novelty I like for it. Re: Code I personally think it ties the bottom row together in terms of balance but I will do some looking into it on how it looks for the other keys

I'm looking forward to the GB and will definitely get base, novelties and spacebars.  A shine-through novelty keycap would fit the night light theme and be so good. And/or dark blue rama with light blue design filling that maybe even glows in the dark. Thank you.

How beautiful it is, I admire it very much. If I had the money I would say: "shut up and take my money" How much I want a normal keyboard. Hell, I can't even afford to buy a proper meal, and I dream of a keyboard. The only nightlight I can afford is an amazon night light (https://www.amazon.com/Night-Light-Plug-Smart-Sensor/dp/B07NF4P12L). Yeah, it's great, it turns itself on when you need it. That is, I come home from the second shift from work and meet me at home this lamp. I just eat in her light, and immediately go to bed, and in 6 hours again at work. I hope one day it's over. And plus this light bulb is very economical. But I still dream of such a keyboard.

How about a timeframe guestimate to go with the pricing? Planning my next build and these will be a great addition. I also want to make sure I have a window so I have time for alternatives if the worst happens and the set doesn't make it to production. Awesome set.

With the current lead times of GMK I would not recommend planning a build with these unless you are looking to build in late 2022. Hoping for the GB to be near the end of Q3.

I can't remember if I've already mentioned this somewhere before so I apologize if we've already discussed.

I appreciate the accent arrows that you're trying to include in the spacebars kit, but personally I don't think they belong there.
I think adding dual 3u bars in lieu of accent arrows would really go a long way in terms of maximizing the support of that kit as well as keeping cost reasonable.
