Hi Everyone :)
« on: Tue, 11 September 2012, 10:01:59 »
Well I've been lurking here for the last few days drooling over everyone else's keyboards and slowly regretting buying an overpriced/****ty mechanical keyboard (razer blackwidow :/) and I thought I'd register so I can tell each and every one of you how much I love you!

And my God the setup thread (pictures of desks) was like porn, makes me hate my college dorm room even more! And That being said, as a broke college studen't I don't think I'll be able to spend any money on keyboards anytime soon, unless I have leftover money in which case I'll blow it all on mice/keyboards :P

Anyway, Hello all!!

Oh more than you know!! My electronics/peripherals are the only thing I own that I really take pride in lol, I love mice too, but I bought that KB like a week after elitekeyboards stopped carrying Filcos and I couldn't find anything else at the time (guess I didn't look hard enough) haha :P

And thank you Computer Lab in Basement :P

Welcome to Geekhack!

Some people have not problems with their BWs - you might be one of the lucky ones.

If not, and you do decide to look for an alternative, at least you have tried MX blue switches.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
