I wonder how much longer the sale will go.. I need those two Ravens gaaaaaaaaah. But so much money spent lately, I'll get my ass kicked lol. But I keep going to the page and looking at them.. and starting to fill in the info.. Gaaaaaaahhhhh.

...Losing strength... Must be strong.. must.. be.. strong...

...But look how pretty they are......... lavender and glitter............

Also, I just saw the Valentine's Chocolate Raven for the first time ever and now I need to get hold of that too some day. Damn it!

This is the first time I might have to miss a HKP sale this year...  :'(
This is my second ever artisan sale in general.. The August one was where I acquired my first ever artisans....... I need a lavender glittery Raven... I'm making grabby-hands at my screen.

Very arrived!

This red is a really nice deep red without looking maroon in any way!

And the green is a bright, vibrant green - very nice indeed!

My purple fn blank arrived yesterday, and I took some photos of it this afternoon!

More

I had the same issues with capturing the colour, but I would describe it as a strong and deep, but vibrant purple.. If that makes any sense

Fantastic cap though!

As far as I know they're mad to order. As long as the form is still up, you're good to go.

Congrats and welcome to the forum! I love my HKPs :) They were my first artisan, and now my largest collection. Definitely the easiest to get, but I also think they look phenomenal.

Ordered the Black/Purple Trooper & Raven, as well as a Steel Blue Armor v2. These will also be my first Artisan Keycaps. I am so damn excited.

I'm planning on putting the Armor v2 on the corner of something like this:

KBP v60 Mini is arriving soon and I just ordered the White/Blue PBT caps and aluminium TEX case off Massdrop. Now I need something for the Black/Purple Trooper and Raven...

That was my first keycap set. For the thickness and aesthetics, it's one of the best, if not the best, values out there for keysets.

So glad to hear that. I get super nervous ordering things online. Pictures don't usually do any justice to the product.

That does look nice!

The trans red goes particularly well with the black.

Very nice setup! Love it. I'm feeling super stupid for not buying any HKP blanks. The sale was before I owned any HKP and didn't see the point. Now I get it. The deep sea gasmask almost looks clear in the photo. I thought it was the snow globe one for a second. I that's what I like about the deep sea translucent color. It plays around with the light a little more than a plain clear one.

Hey GH!

New member here, just getting into artisans, and I really have a thing for gas masks!

Starting out my collection by working on getting translucent gas masks , but really confused between the two greens. Can anyone confirm which green gas mask I currently have?

Also whats the difference between the G1 and G2 gasmasks?
Such artisan, many caps, very keyboard.

I don't know the green, but V1 had round eyes and more holes around the air intake (whatever that bit is called over his mouth).

It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Hey GH!

New member here, just getting into artisans, and I really have a thing for gas masks!

Starting out my collection by working on getting translucent gas masks , but really confused between the two greens. Can anyone confirm which green gas mask I currently have?

Also whats the difference between the G1 and G2 gasmasks?

Yours are G2 Gasmasks.
Here is a picture of G1 Gasmask:

As Rowdy already mentioned, the V1 had 8 holes on the air filter thingy vs 3 slots on the V2.

In addition to that, V2s are ever so slightly taller in height and also slightly cleaner then the V1s.

That being said, the difference is really not as big as it may sound and kinda hard to spot, even when placing Both versions next to each other. =)

I believe I posted it somewhere on here before with pictures. The V1's come in two flavors where there is an earlier version and a slightly cleaner version that was used for most of the translucents.
The G2 has three slits in a circle on the filter and slightly larger eyes.

I would post my earlier post but I'm on mobile right now.

I can remeber you posting pics to compare the versions JaccoW. =)

I think I might even have been the one asking for it back then, so thanks once again brother-brother! =D

Well, here is a first pic of the different version next to each other:

Left to right: G2, G1 (MKI), G2 G1 (MKII)

Oh, and for fun:"
Check Sifo's thread. He tells how he got his camo one. One Geekhacker painted several of his at the time and a few were released into the wild of the idea was copied. :)

Speaking of gas masks, at Keycon 2013 I bought a white one from i3oiler and got Binge to paint it for me. It's a really nice metallic blue with some pink here and there. It looks so much better in person and I'm really impressed by Binge's painting skills. Idk how he wrote Sifo on such a small little cap :D really awesome.

Several did. Most of them are from the G1 era though.
