Fix/Change bluetooth module?
« on: Wed, 02 October 2019, 12:28:40 »
i recently bought a Akko 3084 with bluetooth, but i've a few issues while playing games, sometimes i press A for exemple but theres no input (i watch xev to check if was the game or the keyboard) in order to make A work again i need to press some other key, sometimes multiple keys dont have any input which makes press more keys to make work, its really annoying, while using cable theres no issue, the bluetooth doesnt disconnect, so seems to me theres a issue with the module itself, im looking for an alternative for the module im just not sure which i should buy, here's the one that comes with my Akko https://imgur.com/a/c4oEgCl

reset the bluetooth/keyboard? re-pair, etc...?

changing module, probably not as straight forward as you'd hope.

in the image below, is that trace cut or is that marker? (that trace is the bluetooth antenna. and what happened to that switch? looks like super glue, and you can see the flux smears)

I've tried a bunch of times re-paring and setting up again even switching between linux and windows but still...
About the antenna seems to be just a marker for what i can see, doesnt seems to be glue on the switch, maybe some dirt but doesnt feel like glue or something

Honestly, i got on Ali and from china to brazil takes a lot of time, i feel would be easier just changing the module, i will talk with the seller and see if theres something to do but i dont have much hope on that...

I have the same keyboard and I also bought from Ali Express so a return would be frustrating. 99% of the time I use with USB, but sometimes I switch to bluetooth so I can use the cable to charge my phone and have noticed the same issue.

I hadn't actually noticed that pressing some keys worked and others didn't. I just find that all keys seem to stop working. I either have to power the keyboard off and on again or if I disconnect from it in macOS it seems to automatically reconnect and start working again.
