That is the thing.... i really wasn't looking for anything, it was more of the sake of having one rather than actually giving a crap about whats in the crap bag.

If you have a moment, and this goes for anyone else receiving one, please post pictures (even just an overall picture or two) of what is in the bag.

The biggest question from people is what is actually in the bags.  Last time was mostly WoB DS and PoS specials, with a few real gems thrown in.

Thread here please, thanks :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Hopefully it wasn't just put in a bubble mailer naked, but you'd be amazed how some people send PCBs and what they think is acceptable packaging.

Trying them out with the tank drum right now. They do sound awful nice so far... at least until the point where leafblowers started going on outside. Even then, not too much crap being picked up. I'm going to play with different configurations, and find some bizarre stuff to make noises with.

how much did they cost? i need to get some cheap, preferably small room mics like that to set up some drum recordings.

The colors are a little off I'm guessing because of a flash or overexposure. It's actually a darker color.  I do wish I had sleeving that bright of a pink though.

Yeah, potato pic is no bueno. :(  Like Nubs said, it's a bit darker which is what I wanted. :)  A lighter more pink color would be pretty hot, though...

QFR with reds came wednesday as with my yihua 936, which I proceeded to break within 5 minutes.  Apparently the hakko tip I bought didn't fit and cracked the heating element.  My Aoyue 936 came today and it feels a lot more solid so far, but the tip still didn't work (seemed a little tight and it wouldnt go down all the way, not going to break another element so stock tip it is).  I should also get something from dubs tomorrow :p

It's ok, one day we both will have a neon pink cable :D

Time to bug Nubs to get that color in.  :))

I've done it with paracord, but I don't like paracord sleeving and the only other stuff I've seen neon pink is PET sleeving and I refuse to use it since it looks like trash.
