Is anyone else having trouble with novelkeys not allowing the deskmat and the caps to be purchased together? Is this by design?

Yes, unfortunately. You need to pay shipping twice since they ship at different times.

It is confusing, yeah. It seems terribly inefficient. Every GB I've been in before this has just delayed shipping the deskmat to go with your cap order.

Ahh, I thought u were confused with my explanation haha. Yea, it kinda sucks but I guess NK just ships separately, Hammerhead was same way. I’m assuming it’s just easier for them logistically to send them out when ready.

Heads up, I think the images for the RAMA waves and bento kanji might be mixed up on the NK site when you select them from the drop down menu.

on NK, the rama waves and kanji novelties are messed up. the drop down menu selection does not match the picture. selecting kanji rama shows waves pictures, and vise versa. maythrow off new-ish people who don't know what "kanji" is

Have been looking forward to the second round of this coming out, not sure if I will cop the blue alphas yet but I will almost certainly be in for the standard set and the salmon novelties as they really make the set in my opinion. With the amount of orders that would have to be held back we would run out of room very quickly. Mix that with the delays from GMK, and it becomes a very big logistical nightmare.

Whoop whoop, just found out that I’ve got a bit more money this month unexpectedly, so I can go all in!

I was just going to get Base + Salmon, but I’m now going to go for Base + Salmon + Seafood + Chopsticks + Deskmat +

I’m on the fence about the Latin kit and the Sakana kit to be able to fill two boards out and because I’ve been thinking about a 40% at some point - only keys you’re really missing if you don’t buy Sakana and have Salmon/Seafood (and don’t mind using novelties in place of text mods) are the R3 enter keys, so I’m a bit torn. We’ll see.
