Title: 3M precision surface; best mousepad I've found
Post by: Architect on Sun, 25 August 2013, 08:29:23
Don't know if this is generally known, but I've found the 3M precision surface to be the best for mousing around. You can get it in a sticky pad that goes right on your surface (no raised lip) or what I prefer (with my sit stand desk tray) the following as the attached wrist rest prevents the mouse from falling off the desk when I tilt the pad

http://www.amazon.com/3M-Leatherette-Antimicrobial-Protection-MW309LE/dp/B001A1UX0U

It really is more precise and accurate, a perfect size and comfortable. Best I've found.

Very cool, will try it out once my mousepad wears out! What mouse are you using?

I'm currently using a QCK Mass and loving it with my DA 2013 ;D

I used to love the precision mousing surface years ago when I was using old school "ball" mice, but with modern laser mice it doesn't seem to matter much what surface I use.

Not for tracking, but glide is still important, at least for a lot of people.

Does it work well with trackballs?

Sure, if you turn it upside down.

My friend has an artisan mousepad, they're very high quality stuff.
