【IC】DUKE96&EARL60 keyboard case
« on: Wed, 08 August 2018, 05:01:24 »
I have a plan for a custom-made keyboard case,name it by the rank:【DUKE96、MAR87(Marquis)、EARL60、VIS40(Viscount)、BARO-Pad(Baron)】.
The preliminary design has now been completed, because I don't think the design draft can feel the overall feeling intuitively.
So we started the first proofing, and I can  just test the structure.
Here is a sample of duke96,I still like the feeling. :p
201513-0201490-1201492-2201504-3201506-4201508-5201515-6
The effect of the back, a curve windowing design, you can see a part of PCB. :p
201494-7201496-8201511-9
At the same time, we have a new version of the case and plate into one.
201498-10
Lighting effect(the pcb is XIUDI96 )
201500-11201502-12
I hope you can like it and offer more opinions.THKS

This looks awesome, not a fan of 96er but would totally buy a 69 or 65 percent case!

I will update some rendering later, and the proofing will be a little later. I'll update it as soon as possible. :)

Looks pretty good. If you ever do a tkl or 65% I'll probably be in for one

You might want to lower the resolution of your photos. They are quite large in file size!

THKS for you like it~
AND thank you for remembering Oblivion&HB85. ;)
The twokits are already arranging PCB proofing.
But in order to reduce costs, I need continue to design the CNC structure and make some changes internally.

THKS~
The design of this series will be unified(pad/40/60/87/96,), especially on the back.
Because t60% and 96% have many PCB,so  I decided to design the two shells first.
Other layout  will be arranged later.
But now I can't give you any specific time. I'm sorry.
 :(

this looks awesome

I wonder how PCBs will fit..... I believe 96s and TKLs are not "standardized" like 60% does

at some point I think I can find 3 to 5  USB port positions from different TKL PCBs
