Please do not remove 5%€ it is used in Swedish layout. Both 4$ and 5% are in base, so why would you change one for another?

The Swedish layout also uses the E€ key, which is the euro sign's standard placement in that and all other layouts that can use 5%€ (SE/FI, NO, DK, IS, FO). 5%€ is a non-standard key that isn't used in all implementations of the Swedish and other layouts, whereas E€, being standard, is present in all of them.

Now, I would ordinarily not suggest the removal of this key because some users, like yourself, may prefer to have it. However, this is an extraordinary situation since the kits have been finalized and adding extra keys is likely not viable at this point. UK users (which make up a significant portion of the total ISO userbase) are currently disadvantaged compared to all other groups supported by the NorDeUK kit — they are missing keys and sublegends which are required for full support of their layout, whereas all of the other supported layouts have all of their keys and sublegends. In this case, I think it's a reasonable compromise to swap 5%€ (which, again, is a non-standard and partially redundant key) out for 4$€ in order to give UK users full support for their layout.

I hope you understand.

Let's clear up the confusion. On the placement of the euro symbol.

When the euro symbol was introduced, the EU recommended that it should be placed under AltGr-E (so the E keycap became E€).

ALMOST ALL national layouts in western Europe were updated at the time with this recommendation. The most notable exception was, of course, the English (UK) layout, which placed the symbol under AltGr-4 (so the 4$ key became 4$€).

Microsoft at the time was adding stuff to their (primitive) version of the "US International" layout, and AltGr-E was already taken, so they placed the euro symbol under AltGr-5 instead (so the 5% key became 5%€).

Later on, Microsoft revised their implementations of the national layouts for Western European languages, and added a second placement for the euro symbol, so it could be typed either as AltGr-E or as AltGr-5. But, this must be stressed, the second assignment is not the actual standard.

Check out the differing national layouts at http://www.farah.cl/Keyboardery/A-Visual-Comparison-of-Different-National-Layouts/. You won't believe where the Maltese national layout places the euro symbol!!!

So if no color matching is happening, can I assume the blue will be just as dull IRL as the pink was versus the render?

The renders above reflect the colors IRL.

sry but that's not true. look my post at the GB Thread.

F and J without the bumps
Split layouts sometimes have 2 B keys on them.

If your keyboard is split do you need the bumps?

I’m sure there are people don’t like the additional texture on their keys.

Can't wait to see the BL00 set IRL. Super excited to own this set. I'm going to tune the rgb in my room+pc to match perfectly.
