You mean 13 grammy awards, 20 Guinness World records holding and 24 American Music Award winning Michael Jackson? Or are you accusing this keyset of behaving inappropriately with children? Kinda weird either way.

So just a quick update for anyone who may be wondering, zFrontier is still slated to be carrying this, but getting in contact with them has been difficult recently presumably due to the lockdowns.

Hey everyone, just wanted to say that due to zF being unable to post the GB at the start, we're going ahead and extending through to June 30th.

We're over halfway to MOQ on base with 0 extras, and all the child kits have hit MOQ naturally, so I'm feeling confident that this set will be able to be made!

Hey y'all no real updates at the moment.

Currently waiting to begin the sampling process for colormatching, SP is in possession of the Pantone chips.

Hey everyone, sorry for a bit of delay on relaying news on the samples.

Just took this pic a little bit ago, it's super overcast where I'm at today.

This update is a bit of good news/bad news.

Bad news first.

The 2 pink colors are less vibrant than the selected Pantones. I knew going into this set that the paper versions of the Pantone neons would be impossible to hit, which is why I purchased the plastic chips and rendered the set based on those.

I requested a re-sample on those 2 colors but unfortunately, according to SP's supplier, Pantone uses PP as the plastic to make their chips, while obviously SP uses ABS. PP starts off clear, while ABS starts off fairly white and PP has less limited pigment options compared to ABS. Due to these differences, there's simply nothing more that can be done to make these colors more accurate.

Now for the good news.

The rest of the colors are incredibly accurate to their Pantone chips. While the pinks may not be 1:1 with the Pantones I chose, I am very pleased with how they all work together. The pink colors still play off of each other as I'd envisioned and they absolutely still fit the aesthetic of the set. Which is to say, they're all obnoxious as hell in the best way.

Thankfully, it's not so far off from what I'd envisioned so as to require having them attempt a different color reference or anything like that. And honestly, any other choice of reference would pale in comparison to what was rendered for you fine folks anyway.

With that in mind, I'll be confirming that these samples are acceptable and we'll be getting this show on the road!

I'll keep ya updated as things progress.
