Parametric Artisan Drawer

Stumbled upon a video about parametric design and took the day to redesign my artisan drawer with parameters!

Here are the share links for the Fusion 360 files.

-The xCell/yCell parameters control the array of slots. X is the across and Y is depth.

-Insert length/width numbers into "drawerWidth" & "drawerLength"

Was tired of having my artisan caps just lying about on my desk so designed a quick box to house them.

Warning it takes a stupid long time to print. ~29 hours for the outside box, ~6 hours for each drawer, and ~3 hours for the inserts.

Still need to print the second box for the rest of the colors but waiting on a filament shipment before starting that.

Very cool project! Do wish I had more deskspace but this is quite a nifty way to get things stacked up and organized.

Might have to try to shrink this down as my print bed is too small. Great work either way and thanks for sharing!

Well it's almost a year later but I came back to my box and made it parametric! If you still need it shrunk super easy to do now if you have fusion 360 :)

Hello!

I was reaching out to you because I have a strong interest in running a small group buy.

Given I have several machines that can work day and night, I can probably put out about 70 in a month. I can run quality check and finish them accordingly.

I was trying to contact you to receive permission to do this after I created an initial interest check and drummed up prices.

I don't know if there are cheaper alternatives to this so I'm also open to your input on the matter.

And considering this is my first time attempting this, I'm printing out some copies of it to share (both the two drawer and four drawer). I can play around with the design a bit to make the printer eat less material to make it less costly.

So if it's okay with you, I would like to give this an honest shot.

How can I download the file from the public link and open it in Fusion360?
