Hi,
The schematic is unconnected for cc pins.
Cause 32u4 support only usb2.0.
The features in 3.1 is not useful for the chip right now.
Why usb-c?
It will become more popular in the future.
If we change the chip for supporting more features in the future, it might become useful.
And most important!! It doesn't care direction, you will use it without annoying while plug it.
Thank you for your thorough reply, and letting me know about the schematic, I really appreciate it. I agree, it's awesome to see more PCBs with USB-C, and I'm glad you are using it.
Unfortunately, even though it's a USB 2.0 device, if the CC pins are floating, I don't believe it will work in a direct USB-C to USB-C configuration (i.e. you would need a USB-C to USB-A cable, then an OTG adapter with USB-A female on the computer with the USB-C port). Even thought it's USB2.0, the CC pins need pull-down resistors to allow USB-C to USB-C connections. It would be really cool to see this, maybe in a rev. 2 of the board!
