Can't call it classic or classic retro if it's icon only (but that's just me). Also, I'm not too fond of offering too make kits.

Red accents (like the grailed red cherry key) are in consideration.

BTW is stepped control really a thing? I just can't imagine pressing a stepped key on a mod that is used fairly often, just seems weird. All I can think of it being of use is for aesthetic reasons. Maybe I just haven't been paying close enough attention on other kits.

I've gone through the IC form and here are some suggestions with my answers.

But first, some things moving forward.

R5 is here to stay.
Side printed Sys Rq and Break will be added.

Make the standard bottom row R4 like OG cherry (OG Cherry didn't have R5 1.25U) - no, R5 for everyone!

Removing R5 - no, R5 is here to stay, I like R5 and I run things I like.

R0 support - I dont like R0 so no R0.

40s related keys - Sorry, if you're in 40s discord, you know my reasons

3U bars - This I can get behind and will consider

Zhuyin mods - no.

Icon only mods - no.

R4 kit - no.

Zhuyin monolegends - sorry, not considering that at this moment.

A combination of moving around the cherry kit where windowed keys end up in base kit and more cherry keys get added - Okay, this I've thought about and think it's possible. But I'm not sure if people will be onboard with the idea.

Here is my idea: a **** ton of cherry keys as a stand alone kit (4x row 1, 2x row 2,3,4,5) then add cherry enter novelty and windowed keys to base kit.
Pro: cherry keys for everyone!
Con: Base kit prices increase, people tend to not use windowed keys.

I'm inclined to keep it as it is, but your responses on the IC form will determine that.

Glad we're keeping R5. Bless the people who see the beauty of it.

3u bars will become the new meta! Interested to see this pan out myself.

I think keeping the "novelties" such as Cherry caps and windowed stuff separate from the base is the most prudent thing to do to keep the base nice and clean.

Also, I'd be interested in the "**** ton of Cherry keys"

My only issue with the set is the UK-ISO support. As it stands at the moment, you would end up with 2 and 3 without sublegends when using UK-ISO, making the Zhuyin part incomplete.

Should the UK 2 and 3 also get the corresponding ㄉ and ˇ sublegends?
Either that or drop UK in favour of Terminal ISO.

So I will admit, I made an error by not creating the molds for these the first time around.

I will need to discuss with Mike about the creation of these molds, since I do not want to keep our EU brothers from enjoying this set.

Sadly no. Also R1 colors would not match this since different color codes.

I will say, one thing I am considering is the inclusion of 3U spacebars for Type K.

Since the "Classic Retro" colorway is pretty common (and with various other sets rocking the same colors), I expect people will be on the hunt for 3U spacebars for their Type K.

Once I get around to fixing some other things, I will post another IC where that will be one of the questions.

However, I will say, regardless of the results, I am tempted to preemptively include it as if this layout takes off, I want to be on the forefront of it rather than behind it (similar in fashion to the additional B for Alice, etc.)
