I know dyeing is not as popular as it used to be, but I have a very specific color that I would like to achieve.
I have a specific dye recipe that I used on some Alps keycaps, and (surprisingly for me) had the foresight to write it down.
I'd like to make a set of PBT Cherry keycaps the same color.
The caps that I want to dye have translucent legends because they are designed to be backlit, but this set is for a non-backlit keyboard.
This works ok at the moment, but I'm wondering how the dye will affect the legends.
All the posts I have found on the subject were centered around the backlight still shining through the legends, which is not my concern.
I need to know if I will still be able to read the legends without a backlight?
