Both, these springs are the same weight for the actuation force and the bottom out.

I don't understand lol. So it's 80g at both the middle and when fully compressed?

Yup

How is that even possible?  A spring's resistance should increase the more it compresses.

I know you've said you plan to get a 1.75 Shift + Blank 1x but have you got a time-frame on when this would happen.

I would love to get another set of OnC but really no point if its not anytime soon since it's going on an 1800.

Sound like a broken record!

I put the order through, but I did not get any confirmation yet.  I can't give you a definite time.

Yah I'm not trying to make a big deal about this, but it's impossible for it to be both and it would be nice to know which is 80g.

i thought korean springs were measured by bottoming out force

Dubsgalore is correct actually.  My fault on this one.  I'll borrow some of my brother's tools to see if I can get the AF measured.  I'm actually curious on this too as I have not tested the 80g yet.  People kept asking for it, so I tried my best to bring it.

Yup

If you had an extremely long spring, then pre-compress it into the switch, then the actuation and bottom out will be very close. But an extremely long spring won't fit in the first place, so no... this is not possible.

Don't lie lol. I want some magic springs too.

I actually have some other springs that calavera did a group buy on.  Those springs are suppose to be more magical.  The person that made it had a group of 10 Korean Keyboard Enthusiast (Koreans = Perfectionist).  Supposedly, he perfected the spring.  I am pretty satisfied with the current ones I own, but I will have to give these a go.  If anyone missed out on the group buy, but interested in the item then feel free to PM ME!

So the ones I currently have in stock are the ones that KBDMod has.

The new ones are:

50G LL
55G L
62G M
67G H

I have no idea what the letter means.

It's lowx2, low, medium, heavy? or something similar. (may be light, medium, high)

Also I got an email saying I was refunded the shipping difference but don't see it on my bank account yet. So I'll let you know once it clears.

Oh that makes a lot more sense.

Thanks a lot for the notice.

Here are some quick pictures of the keyset holder I was talking about.  It was designed by hazeluff.  We have a few more fixes until we actually give these out to people.

The cover is made of cardboard while the inside, where the keycaps sit on, is made of foam.

Here's a little tab attached to the foam which makes it easier to pick up the tray.

We're still trying to fix this up a little, but it will be in your hands soon!

I'll take some better pictures tomorrow with lighting.

Could you make sure to take it from directly above with less intense lighting so we have a better idea of how it looks? Also, once you receive more of those boxes will you ship keysets in them?

Yeah, I will also sell them for real cheap.  I know a bunch of people need some place to hold their keysets.  Ziplock bags are pretty annoying! (Saves a lot of space though).

Lol wow, I was hoping someone would notice...
Yeah! Veiny hands unite! This explains why I prefer heavy tactile buckling springs.

on a related note, I was somewhat skeptical about the keycaps boxes, but my faith has been restored. I've thought these are excellent keycap storage for display and organization, and I'm sure to buy some.

It has been in production even before people found out about GMK.  GMK were looking up in their files for the correct colors, and they started manufacturing about 1-2 months ago.  It should really be here soon.
